  1. Starred Up - Brilliant. This film should go down as a classic Prison film. Similar in tone to 'A Prophet', it's no holds barred. Excellent performances from the two leads as well. Highly recommended. 8/10
  2. Regardless of how City have achieved their recent success, a team that has won the league twice in three years is anything but an irrelevant club. It's the complete fucking opposite.
  3. So has this kid from Spurs been signed to go into the first team, or is he another who'll rot in the reserves and get released to Preston/Wolves etc in a year or two?
  4. Getting worked up because we haven't signed anyone by January 11th? You're all a bunch of balloon heads.
  5. I really enjoyed 'Defendor'. Took me a while to realise Woody Harrelsom's character had a learning disability, but once I did it made more sense to me. My older Brother has downs and I did my degree at Manchester Uni in Learning Disabilities studies so it kind of hit home to me; I was taken aback that a Hollywood movie would use this as subject matter. I reckon it was dealt with in a sensitive way, it's rare that a story like this would be made into a movie. Perhaps I'm biased, but I was made up that a production company took a chance on a film about that subject matter.
  6. He seems to think he's king of the Liverpool fans, to me at least.
  7. I really enjoy it; it's generally quite balanced and funny and doesn't take itself too seriously. It's only really one or two of the lads that get on my nerves, particularly Gutman, but I usually end up turning it off if Jay McKenna is on. *Downloads latest podcast* *Deletes latest podcast*
  8. Said Midget is the amazing Peter Dinklage who plays Tyrion Lannister in Game of Thrones. A metaphorical giant of an actor.
  9. No no no no no. He's fucking shite. A lanky string of bullying piss. Fits right in at Stoke. I wouldn't let him within sight of Anfield.
  10. Abso - fucking - lutely. Nippy Mother fucker as well; couldn't believe what I was seeing when he made that run towards the penalty area in the second half.
  11. I certainly hope so. For all the plaudits for his shot stopping skills it's going to take a little more than a penalty save for me to get excited about him as our number 1.
