Yes, I think you are spot on with this. He's really good, but maybe too "ordinary" to be the main striker at Real. He does the job and that's it, not much x-factor. I would love him to come to LFC, I think he would fit really well in here. I'd take him and 20m for Suarez.

Let's not get carried away by this rumours. Higuain is a fantastic player, but I honestly don't think he is interrested in playing for a team that is not qualified for the champions league. I wonder why Real doesn't want to keep him, the lad is pure quality.

Good win. A quiet second half from the Reds and not a top performance, but job well done. I agree Rossiter looks promising, we got some great youngsters coming up now. McLaughlin, Ibe and Sinclair looks really exciting. Dunn, Rossiter and Trickett-Smith also have looked good so far this season. Adding the youngsters included in the senior and u-21's squad the future looks really bright at the moment.

Sinclair looks good. Lacking a bit of end product in this game so far though.
