The defeat against the French could be a blessing in disguise for this club. If we turn things around and go through to the next round, there will be a buzz around the club again. This could be the most important game of Rafa´s since we lost to Milan in Athens.

Rafa should be given one more season to prove himself, regardless of where we finish in the league. The fact we have improved on a season-by-season basis up until this one should be enough. Those who want him gone are a bunch of sad fuckers who would be better off spending their time on something other than football.

I disagree strongly. We don´t need another pass-master, we have Gerrard, Aquilani and Lucas will come good too. We need a good tackler who can win the midfield battle for us.

His contract runs out in 2011 and we should be able to nick him for a bargain price. At 29 years old he´s got at least two or three good seasons left in him. Would add some much needed physical presence to our midfield in my opinion.

Aurelio is a top player but it´s depressing to see him hit top gear just to injure himself time after time. We must sell him if we are to get some continuity at the back for next season.

Your glass is half empty, mate. We came to the Emirates without Torres and Johnson who are key players for us and we could easily have won the game. Yes we are one or two great players from winning the league but as I said, we´re still heading in the right direction.
