    Good. They are due a reaction. Kelleher has been fantastic but we need Ali and the big characters back. Jota will hopefully come on and score a goal. Trent too has to play some part.

    Little bit of bad squad management for me in EL this year. If Danns and Clarke were good enough to play against Chelsea in a cup final, they surely are ready to play some part against a 6th place Italian side. And a shit Mancs too. I felt Danns should have come on against the Mancs. Remember the Macheda cunt who scored that goal against Villa? I hope they play on Thursday. We cannot keep complaining about tiredness for players and then not play these talented kids in a (relatively) meaningless game.

    I would say careless & shit football than arrogance. Can we turn this around? Never say never of course but the 3rd goal killed the tie for me. If it was 2-0, even a first goal over around 70 mins will change everything. Now I cannot see it, even if we find our shooting boots, we will definitely concede.

    I still cannot get my head around what he was actually trying to do with that chance yesterday. It was so far wide, I actually thought it took a deflection off the GK.

    I like Nunez and the passion & work rate that he brings to the team but if we cannot rely on our no.9 for goals when we need them, I don't see why he should be our no.9. We just don't know what we are going to get out of him when he steps onto the pitch - except of course work rate & passion, which are guaranteed.

    My biggest fear is that it might not even go to the final day, if we play like that in front of the goal. When we cannot score, we should keep it tight at the back and we cannot do this either. The team has suddenly become strangers to one another. I hope I am wrong but I am convinced we will finish with the Carabao cup and 3rd.

    I agree with you. Never say never with us but EL is as good as gone. I would play Ali, Jota, Jones, Grav, Trent, Kostas and the kids. But I just don't think Klopp will do that.

    I am sure Klopp will go with a full team to Italy to try and turn this around.

    Without Elliot's contribution this season we might be closer to 8th. Jones was in great form before his injury. Even today I don't think Elliot should have been subbed, he would have put some nice balls in the box like he always does. Gakpo could not get him in, in atleast 2 occasions with shit passes. Harsh there mate.

    I was a bit harsh in the match thread, due to frustration, calling him braindead. I do agree, he needs to be rested for a couple of games. Without him we wouldn't be anywhere near the top but he has been playing non-stop so it's time for him to take a breather. We will still need him no doubt and we need a fresher Joe.

    It is truly awful. Not just starting slow, conceding stupid chances in the first 10-15 mins. Every fucking game. How can a team not learn from it for a whole season is beyond belief.

    Yup. Starting line up was bad. Taking Elliot was a mistake too. Playing Mac for 90 odd mins was taking the piss. Not to mention Konate who couldn't play at Old Trafford.

    Exactly what I was just saying to my mate. Why start Konate if he cannot fucking play 2 games in a week? Why not Gomez in the middle with Bradley as RB? Why fucking Mac when he has been playing every minute? He ended up finishing the game !!!

    Different tournament I know but there is no fucking way we are winning 7 out of 7 after this 'performance' against Atalanta.
