I was thinking about this the other day. In a way we are to blame for believing what these two jokers had told us without a lot of us checking them out for ourselves. Instead we believed what we were spoon fed by the club and the likes of Sky Sports News. We could have stopped it had their previous wrong-doings been picked up more widely and DIC would already be in, it would only have taken the Echo to pick up on it and the yanks would have been sent packing. Moores, Parry and ourselves weren't helped by the fact that Hicks arrived late in the day, but surely the fact GG never had enough money should have sent BIG FUCK-OFF alarm bells ringing everywhere. Its only human nature to believe whats (carefully) presented to us, the fact Gillette was a previous bankrupt was only considered a minor side issue whilst Hicks' Brazil escapades never even got picked up on. We are partially to blame but nowhere near as much as those two clowns overseeing the deal. Taking two years to find someone and ending up with these is absolutely unforgivable?
