    Just shockingly poor tonight. No cohesion, no tempo. Looks like we blew everything on the game with United. Carroll has done alright but nobody to feed off him. Defence as a whole have been poor, midfield is just a joke and attacking almost non-existent. It's like a pre-season friendly, you get the feeling the team is waiting for the bigger players to return.

    well if you're equating that to standing around waiting for the doctor to say if you should book next years holiday or not...it was underwhelming. Very telling that he said he would resist the sale, and not come out and say that financing was in place to continue his stewardship of the club...finally we could be coming to the end of this nightmare.

    I'm torn. A big part of me is much less interested in football, mainly due to the rampant commercialization of the game in the last twenty years. But I still find myself watching the game and wishing for us to win. If the Americans keep control it will just be another weight added to a heavy heart for the game I used to love.

    Just home from a typical Easyjet experience (flight late, queuing up for hours) and this has put a smile on my face. Ace, just enjoy it for what it is.
