Halsey: Referee standards have dropped to alarming levels
Peter Cormack replied to TLW's topic in FF - Football Forum
Ferguson wouldn‘t have put up with this he would have been in the ear of every journo accompanied by unsolicited gifts. Why haven‘t we started a campaign against Webb and his running dogs there are a few good sports journalists who would listen; none in Manchester! It seems to me the club are afraid to go public with the shit we have to deal with -
Nobody has mentioned our friend paul tierney hopefully with Klopp doing the punching
-
Howard Webb as long as it’s a sledgehammer not a fist he‘s hit with, tindell, pickford, fernandes, and ben shite would also benefit from a punch in the gob
-
Dyche actually has a point, he’s complaining about the fact that the timing of the break is wrong as it means games get shifted to december because of it. The Ev had 9 and we had a game every three days at one point. The real problem is there are too many teams in the EPL and too many competitions and it will be worse this year with the Champions league changes. But not for the Ev

Liverpool 4 Newcastle 2 (Jan 1 2024)
Peter Cormack replied to tlw content's topic in FF - Football Forum
Their keeper said it was a pen, why is there any debate about it; and it should have been a red card; the clearest denial of a goal scoring opportunity you willever see -
Burnley 0 Liverpool 2 (Dec 26 2023)
Peter Cormack replied to tlw content's topic in FF - Football Forum
It’s not VAR that’s the biggest problem it’s the biased fuckwits in the studio who are totally inconsistent with their decisions. If it were properly run and overseen VAR could be a good thing. It should be correcting referees when they get it wrong not agreeing with twats like Tierney. The last round of games saw arse’s handball and Bony getting sent off for making an excellent tackle in both cases VAR backed the ref despite clear visual evidence. Absolutely mindblowingly rediculous. -
Featured: That was the Week that Was (Dec 17-22 2023)
Peter Cormack replied to tlw content's topic in FF - Football Forum
The atmosphere can’t be the same as it was before the Kop was seated. There were still quiet games though, the best atmosphere I experienced was the Milan game in 1965; the worse a 1-0 defeat to Ferencvaros on a snowy day in 66 or 67. Granted we were played off the park. Going from tv coverage it now seems at times to lack atmosphere, esp in thursday games when you only hear the away fans. Do the tv companies have control over where they take their crowd noise from? -
Fowler: I was a better striker than Owen in every aspect
Peter Cormack replied to TLW's topic in FF - Football Forum
Owen’s dad was a pro footballer and he was brought up to follow in his dad’s footsteps. Robbie fowler is an ordinary lad from liverpool 8 with more to life than football. He was the best finisher in a red shirt I’ve seen, It’s a shame that knee injury and playing when Roy Evans was manager, when discipline was apparently lax, affected his career. Souey would have turned him into a model pro in my opinion. The other difference with Owen is that he wasn’t brought up a dyed in the wool blue. -
Crystal Palace 1 Liverpool 2 (Dec 9 2023)
Peter Cormack replied to tlw content's topic in FF - Football Forum
Typical Hodgson performancefrom palace, followed by a typical “nothimg is my fault” interview; what a shithouse that man is. Good, balanced report Dave spot on about TNT’s commentator him and Mcmanamen together on Euro nights are absolute cringeworthy. -
Premier League Round Up (Dec 2-7 2023)
Peter Cormack replied to tlw content's topic in FF - Football Forum
I live in Malmő where he has God status I’ve put a few people right but most thank him for Malmő FF’s finest hours. There’s a lot of hateful silly old men; being old and silly is no reason to be whitewashed. I’ll never forgive the owl for his attitude and disrespect when he was our manager……cunt of the first order. -
Premier League Round Up (Dec 2-7 2023)

Excellent as ever Dave except for not hating The Hodge how can a thinking being say that? -
According to the BBC gossip column, they are blaming Spurs for the overspend because they would only pay 60 not 80 million for richiela

Premier League Round Up (Nov 4-6 2023)
Peter Cormack replied to tlw content's topic in FF - Football Forum
Excellent as always, this goes on your greatest hits CD -
Sack Dyche and bring in Rooney, we won‘t need a 12 point deduction to see them flushed if that happens.
-
Dyche played a blinder yesterday, they were coping well after Ashley Old went, but things started falling apart when he went ultra defensive and brought on Keane and Patterson. But if Ibou had got a second yellow they would have won easily……it‘s Everton logic

Absolute fucking nonsense play on Sunday because police cannot guarantee safety on the first advent Saturday with Heavy shopping etc in town. And tell TNT to fuck off thought we were at home after aws’s post…what a silly bunt I am. Should still lodge a serious protest through a first class legal team. How many times have we had to play on Sunday before a tuesday ECL game? A fair few I think

Premier League Round Up (Oct 7-8 2023)
Peter Cormack replied to tlw content's topic in FF - Football Forum
One of your best Dave, but I must beg to differ on Arsenal, I have a long list of issues with them going back to 1950. As for the red mancs every defeat they have fills me with joy, and McTomminy is a fake scot and a thug, deserves nothing. On refs in England, the tipping point must come soon, it will take someone like St. Garry Linekar to get some action. On Webb, are all shaved head men cunts? Webb, Pep, Dyche forexample -
I’m in Oslo at the weekend does anyone know where I can watch the Brighton game thanks

Tottenham (A) - Sat 30th Sep 2023 (5:30pm)
Peter Cormack replied to Trumo's topic in FF - Football Forum
I was driving home through Denmark with a poor phone signal missed the Diaz incident and when the signal came back it was radio London not 5 live. Pundits were ex spurs players I think when Spurs equalised one said it should be Liverpool 2 and I had no clue what he was talking about. They debated Jota’s 2 yellows both were correct and called Jones’s red debateable. When I got home the shitstorm had broken I’m glad I didn’t know what had happened while driving, I’d be an accident casualty if I had. I think we need some smart lawyers and start going after Webb and his running dogs. -
Many of them were manu fans when manu were winning

Watched the whole match, Onana is not worth a carrot, ETH is a deer in headlights, can‘t see him lasting till xmas, he‘s either a shit coach or the team take no notice of anything he says. Fernandes is a liability wanders around the pitch for no apparent purpose except to complain to the ref. I#d love to hear Roy Kean‘s honest opinion of him. Long may it last.

Halsey: Referee standards have dropped to alarming levels
Peter Cormack replied to TLW's topic in FF - Football Forum
While manchester supporters of either colour and ex South Yorkshire police officers are involved in refereeing at any level we will continue to suffer explicit bias frequently. That‘s just the way it is and will remain until a smoking gun is found
