  1. Wrong as you are about my previous posts, I've no interest in playing stupid games about the past. Our future is as it has been for some time - bleak. Stop living in the past and in denial. Call it as it is and quit all the bullshit. I couldnt care less who the manager is as long as they prodce the goods ie consistancy & continual improvement towards the goal of PL. Regardless of all the financial problems we are and have been under performing for some time. Rafa's style of football whereby his first objective is not to lose rather than to win is painful and dreary - fuck the stats about goals etc. When we start doing what we should be doing on a consistent basis then I'll start being positive. I expect us to win today but it means nothing if we dont go on a good 10/15 game run so I wont be having an orgasm on here afterwards like you and others. I'll be amazed if we get 3 points from Wigan & Porthsmouth afterwards.
  2. Usual type of response from you...ignore the real issue and just slag off the poster. You should have been a politician.
  3. Same fools still have their heads in the sand as always. Anyone who thinks Rafa should stay on is a retard. He should have gone at least 2 yrs ago but instead here we are in the shitty europa league and it will be the same next year if we're luckyenough of finish in top 5 or 6 with the same retards defending him. We are no closer to winning the PL now then we were under that cabbage Dr Hou and unless we make a change I cant see us challenging for the PL at all over the coming years.
  4. We need a new f*ckin manager and the sooner the better. Unless we get lucky we'll be playing in the europa league again next season and dumb f*ckers will still be backing Rafa. He's brought us as far as he possibly can - we need someone else now to take us to the next level ie consistent, serious challengers for the PL. The more they dither, the shittier we become. Wont matter a fuck if we beat Arsenal tomorrow cos we'll just fuck it up by losing to Wigan or Portsmouth. Same shit, different season.
  5. This might be old news but here it is anyway: Contrary to all the rubbish printed by the British press regarding a 20 million pound deal for Alberto Aquilani, Roma have themselves revealed the true extent of the payment structure for the Italian (both to the stock exchange as well as their own official site). The 20 million EURO transfer fee is broken up into the following: - 4 cash instalments of - – 5 million EURO upfront £4.25m - – 3 million EURO by 4th January 2010 £2.5m - – 7 million EURO by June 30th 2010 £5.9m - – 5 million EURO by June 30th 2011. £4.25 Further Add ons include: - 300,000 EURO for every year Liverpool qualify for the Champions League from 2010/11 to 2014/15 £255k - 250,000 EURO everytime the player reaches 35 appearancs, 70 appearances, 105 appeances and then 140 appearances. £212k - 1 million EURO the first time Liverpool either wins the Premier League or Champions League by 30 June 2014. £850k - 5% of any future transfer fee will be paid to Roma. Details can be found here (for those fluent in Italian) – http://www.asroma.it/UserFiles/988.pdf So next time you read any article and it says we paid 20 million Pounds or any other funny amount, reference this article! That being said, if we’ve only paid 5 million EURO for Aquilani, and got 30 million POUNDS for the Alonso deal right away….is there more money to burn or is it going to our esteemed American owners to re-finance their deal? (Liverpoolfc.co.za) This is an interesting look into how complex transfer fees have become and makes one wonder if we can indeed afford to bring in one more big name signing or whether that is not financially viable. With only £4.25m payable now clearly there is cash available from the Alonso sale but does Rafa want/need to spend it now or would he better off waiting? Obviously with Aquilani out injured for anything up to two months, there may be a need to bring someone in before the transfer window shuts otherwise we may be thin in the midfield.
  6. No excuses are acceptable. Four losses in a row means he has to go. Time for all his fans to take their heads out of the sand. Nice guy but he's gotta go.
  7. Excellent! How can I copy this so as to display it in an email (outlook)?
  8. Good performance, great result. Apparantly Rafa jumped into to the air celebrating at full time???? Anyone got a pic of this unusual display of emotion!!??
  9. I dont know what has happened over the past couple of weeks but we're playing good football AND winning. I hope to God this good attacking play can continue even if we dont win the PL. I've said all along that we wont win the PL with Rafa mainly because his negative game plans/tactics - has he now suddenly changed his mindset/tactics?? Who knows but maybe he'll prove me wrong - I hope so. I'm not going to get too excited though yet..This is definitly a title challenging season.
  10. Dream on...we will drop plenty more points between now and season end...prob hang on to third spot though
  11. Good performance in 2nd half but it was only fuckin Sunderland.
  12. Anybody got the net figure that Rafa has spent on players since he became manager as compared with Arsenal, Scum and Chavs? Thanks
  13. Well it was obvious to quite a few people on here back in 05/06 that Rafa was'nt up to it and they all (incl me) go the usual dogs abuse for daring to crticise the manager. Regardless of who was right or wrong, the bottom line is that he must go now.
  14. Its been obvious (and I've been saying it) for at least 3 years that Rafa did not have what its takes to even mount a serious challenge in the PL, let alone win it. The sooner he goes the better and let the search for a decent manager begin.
  15. Fuck the CL. The Premier League is the yard stick by which we must be measured. Go now Rafa.
  16. Not gutted no. I'm happy we won but I'd rather see us win or seriously challenge for the PL than win CL. The PL is the real measure of how good and how consistent the team is. We already know we're very good in Europe. The challenge for Liverpool is to prove themselves at home. Despite the fact that we're second in table at the moment, realistically I don think we're any closer to winning the league than we have been for past six or seven years. We are far inferior to the Mancs and if Chavs and Arse put this season behind them and reorganise like we know they can, we'll be exposed for what we really are - fourth or fith at best. Dunphy & Giles are spot on - we're a very well organised, professional, functional team. We lack any real spark, magic and creativity.
  17. Since when was boring, God awful, negative football 'the Liverpool Way"?
  18. I agree with every single word bar point number 6. I will always support the club.
