We've been lucky in a couple of games this season, we are just unlucky today, hitting the post twice for fucks sake, long way to go this season whatever happens.

I negged the fucker (Baz), just because it was the first time I could since I last could (eh?). You can tell he's just waiting for a dfeat so it can all come spewing out. We didn't play great but we won. Lots of games coming thick and fast and Rafa trusts his squad.

Pompey were shite. They didn't even try to play until they were a goal down. Awful. It's the premier league, like Stoke, they are not a 1st division side in a cup game. No guts. We weren't great but we were having to play patient probing footy. I have no problem with rafa using a squad around a main team, when players come on they know what they have to do. Happy days.

Not great but not as bad as some are making out, patience is the key, as ever. Lucas hasn't played badly getting stuck in and playing the right pass, Pennant has been a bit headless chicken but one or two moments.

Not been connected to the internet since friday as i moved to the hills of derbyshire. The only radio station I could get here was Radio City (!) and Aldo was fucking brilliant, basically calling John Terry a coward and really enjoying this win. I took it as fate that I could only get R.City and I was gulping back the tears that I'd left Liverpool and the lads fucking beat them and beat them well. Loved reading this thread today. We are looking like a team now. I love Liverpool. (I'm 4 decades old and yet still a baby..............).

I'm a fan of Gore Vidal so I'm inclined to believe that the americans turned a blind eye in the late 19th C in the phillipines so they could annexe the place; another blind eye for pearl harbour to enter WW2; 9/11 to take over the Middle East. Like Hitler in Poland and the Reichstag fire, Stalin and show trials etc, rulers believe that the sacrifice of few (relatively) is ok as it advances their plans for the many.
