Fucking fantastic! Not the best performance but who cares? Still early days, but I genuinly think Manu doesn't look like the same team under Moyes. We were struggelig in that second half and looked knackered, but they never really looked threatening. Under Slur they used to be ruthless in such situations.

At least we won in the end. Not too worried about the extra time, 5 days of rest until Manu. Big blow to loose Toure though, hope it's not too serious.

Awful first half, borefest. Very negative and controlled from both teams. Reminds me of our matches against chelsea when Rafa and Maureen were managers, except then I cared who won.

That yellow was for Nzogby (or whatever his name is) for his challenge on Coutinho, not for Lucas. Ref waited for the chance to give it, but the tv-producers didn't understand.

So, who's going to be the number one whipping boy and public enemy of the Lfc squad now, with Downing gone? Are we back to Henderson or even Lucas? Does any of the new players, say Luis Alberto, have the potential to withdraw from a tackle in an early game, and therfore be branded 'useless' by the worlds best fans? My money is on Allen, with Borini as a close second. The fantastic supporters with hatred for the manager will secure the victory, no doubt.
