Arsenal play to the strengths of their players. Their best players are allowed to flourish and express themselves. They don`t put them in a tactical straight-jacket by worrying about the opposition. They had a difficult league season last year coming to terms with the loss of Viera and the integration of a lot of youngsters but are now about to reap the rewards. Another team we`re miles behind.

Today proved us pessimists right and all the deluded optimists wrong. Although I don`t class myself as a pessimist just a realist.

I said in another thread the other day that Rafa has made a dogs dick of this season so far and think today underlines it really. Every time we`re chasing the game the tactics and formation go totally to cock and it ends in a mish mash of players playing out of position.
