Spurs are very financially sound. They have an excellent, financially minded board of directors. Their assets (Davids excluded) are largely profitable, their wages are half that of LFC and are mostly performance based, their stadium is profitable and they are owned by a company that is prepared to spend wisely. Basically Spurs make money.
Having said that they aren't the best on the pitch and I suspect the majority of the youngsters are journeymen. They have a core of decent players, but unless Spurs make the next step into Europe then most won't be there forever (except maybe for Robinson), but Spurs know that and will profit from it as they aren't an ageing team that will see their assets depreciate.
