  1. "We'll win a trophy again in the next few years"... it can only mean they must be heading to Florida again.

  3. Hahaha! That game where Walters excelled himself. If Laurel and Hardy played football... Chances are, he didn't buy a lottery ticket that night.
  4. We're 11 points better off now than after 12 games last season. Just about one full point per game. Real progress.
  5. Does anyone else scream at the telly when they show footage from the pitchside camera, or is it just me? I hate not being able to see where everyone is in relation to who's in possession of the ball.
  6. October, Hah! It was won in September just a few short years ago by a club who shall remain nameless.
  7. Everton's potential takeover by 777 Partners will not be impacted by a credit rating downgrade on one of the firm's business arms. AM Best, a leading US credit rating agency, lowered 777's financial strength from excellent to fair. In credit rating terms, that's a 3 step relegation from 'excellent' through 'very good', 'good', down to to 'fair'. Appropriate, and a sign of things to come? Sources have told BBC Sport the rating is unrelated to 777's ability to fund the purchase of Everton and will have no material impact on the takeover. The Miami-based investment firm remains on track to take over by December. In September, owner Farhad Moshiri agreed to sell his 94% stake in Everton to 777 Partners and the process usually takes 12 weeks to complete. It is understood 777 has submitted all documentation that has been requested by the relevant authorities, including to the Premier League and Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), while the Football Association (FA) also has to give the green light from their end. AM Best specialises in the insurance industry and placed 777 Partners' rating under review with "negative implications" and said it could suffer further downgrades. The report also said 777 Partners had not "provided audited financial statements for the past two years". Our finances are in absolute shite, so we just won't submit them. Of course. Despite the rating by AM Best, it is understood 777 Partners' ability to fund transactions in other businesses, such as the 777 Football Group, remains unaffected. 777 Partners comprises of 60 independent operating companies with a combined £8.2bn worth of assets under its management. The Premier League has the final say on the approval of the takeover once it has completed the owners' and directors' test. The saviours Everton are waiting for.
  8. Hahaha... that's getting shown in work on Monday morning Hey, Paul, do you want to see a replay of that late Utd goal on Saturday? Yeah, have you got it there? Yep Fuck off ya Scouse cunt
  9. Should we expect, with no Trent, if we get a free kick in a good range, Szoboslai will be on it, or would Salah as captain be calling the shots and claim that?
  10. 'Complied with the rules' my bollocks! Overspending, not marginally, but by a factor of more than 3X, for multiple consecutive years does not constitute 'rule compliance'. Bang 'em up!
  11. Are you saying that repeated survival of relegation to League One are not great things? Then, it'll be crystal clear how moronic it is. Was.
  12. How long has it been since Mo scored one of his trademark left foot swingers in the top bin?
  13. They really should be reminded that until you've got everything, you've got nothing! Crowing about an incomplete stadium, that may, in fact, never be completed, that they may never play in, is classic chicken counting. Even if it is completed and they do play there, in whatever league they're in at the time, how long before their first forced postponement because of 'weather conditions'? And how long before the mounting fixture pile-up is blamed on Heysel?
  14. The thing I laughed about with the penalty was, that it didn’t matter what Pickford had written on his bottle, when Mo stepped up and smashed that into the corner, Dino Arms was rooted in the middle of the goal watching it as it went in. If he'd dived one way or the other and not saved it, that’s one thing, but why have that ‘info’ and then stay rooted to the spot? On a related note, I’m far happier seeing Mo abandon taking the scenic route to the ball and just having a shorter direct run before smashing it. WTF was that blert like with his half&half scarf? Had to be a tourist. Young only has himself to blame. But as so often happens, he shouldn’t even have been on the pitch to get himself sent off… as he should have gone minutes before, when he kicked the ball away. But double standards are only for Liverpool players' transgressions. McCoist: The ref should’ve warned Young after his 3rd yellow card offence, that if he committed a fourth, he’d have to seriously consider sending him off. Played my FPL triple-captain card on Salah against these as usual, picking up a tasty 48 points! Not bad for someone being shite for most of the game. There’ve been plenty of weeks I didn’t get that total from 11 combined!
  15. The Echo: 'You can't get this wrong' Everton: Hold my beer! Proof positive the Echo has been obsessed with the Redshite and not paying any attention to Everton if they think that. What's that? You can't afford to get this wrong? Different kettle of fish, that.
  16. Definitely with you on the desire to have Everton relegated under Moshiri while being unable to misspend any of Uncle Uzzy's frozen dough. The huge question will be whether 777 pass the 'Dodgy Owners' test. The fans should indeed be protesting, but instead, they're just revolting.
