i just dontthink the lad has been given a fair crack at the whip. when you consider it took players like pires a good 12 months to settle and adjust, and they were getting regular football. cisse only had a short spell of regular games before his injure and since he hasnt been given a decent run in the team. giving someone 10 minutes here or 15 there isnt enough for a relatively new signing

i never support england's football team, but strangely i will watch the cricket or rugby. as a scouser i have just never felt anything when watching the national footy side, more inclined to watch ireland if they are on.

to be honest i know a lot of people, mostly scousers who think people are going overboard about the entire thing. people are trying to paint the image that only none scousers dont back the campaign well thats a load of shit. most of my mates who are reds thought the mosaic was a joke.

i knows its all ifs and buts however i think if we can finally get gonzales in the new year or next summer i reckon riise's days at anfield may be over. one cracking season but since then he has played in spurts, a few good weeks then long drops in form for a couple of years but more consistent last season.

He is a much better player than peter crouch but i dont reeckon he will actually play up front. Though he is good through the middle he is a more effective player when the on the wing. he would defo give rafa a load of 'possibilites' due to his versatility i reckon he would be a cracking buy
