  2. Best game ever. Remember sending in best goals you have scored on floppy disk to one of the computer magazines.
  3. Dont often post but that did make me laugh. I sometimes read his match previews on Sky Sports website (basically before any live game). If he predicts a win, the opposite happens. Overrated as a player as well.
  4. Kick Off 2 for the Atari ST. Championship Manager for the PC although Player Manager (combination of Kick Off and a player management role) was superb for the Atari
  5. So has Macca retired or what? I read in that Stu Monty piece that he has taken a sabattical. First I had heard of that. Me and Bri (JoeyB) have discussed this a few times and are none the wiser.
  6. Yep - I saw someone wearing one in the Eight Bells after the Fulham game on Sat. Was impressed that the kit had lasted so long but did it not realise he probably bought it last week. Thankfully he was not wearing the ridiculous shorts / g-string to go with it.
  7. I reckon most sides throughout the ages have always had a "problem position". Ours at the moment is right midfield. England is left midfield etc. Where have Tottenham got their money from by the way?
  8. After watching Tony Warner perform heroics for Fulham last night, I had a think about how many ex-Liverpool or current Liverpool keepers (Kirkland) there are in the Premiership. Surely this is some type of record. Warner - Fulham James - Man City Westerveld - Portsmouth Friedel - Blackburn Kirkland - WBA Weird
  9. I was up at University there. Not that many bars with big screens to be honest, although it has been a while since I was there. The Three Tuns is not a bad place to watch it - sort of opposite M&S in the town centre
  10. I have a fair bit on Gerrard to score anytime at 2/1 and Nando to score anytime at 4/6.
  11. This all reminds me of when Ian Rush left for Juve. You think it will be the end of the world as we see it. But we get over it. The Club is way bigger than any individual.
