I enjoyed it as I like history based around that age. I did think the production was a little weak at times though especially in the battle scenes. The battles where pretty epic and I felt the production didn’t quite capture that and left it looking slightly cheap at times.

One of the main guys was in the first two series of Skins. The hard saxon guy has been in everything form eastenders years ago to virtualy small parts in every uk show known to man.

A mate of mine brought some of this into work the other month. I was off on leave so unfortunately missed the shenanigans. Another mate had a big helping on his butty. His mouth was on fire and he chose to guzzle two pints of milk and strangly a flap jack to help ease his suffering. Bad idea. He promptly threw up all over his desk in the office and all over the poor girls bag next to him. Gallons worth of flap jack milk sick. He then had to be driven to the walkin centre. True story. You could still be rejected on the quality of your skills and behaviours. There is an initial sift where they get rid of all the chaff, people going over 200 words and people not filling out all the required parts of the form etc. They dont even read what they have writen at that stage. Then they do the proper sift which looks at what you have written for each one and scores then 0-3. You have to score at least 2 normally on all S&B to get an interview. That was finished last week. Interviews are starting next monday and running till about may 20th.

There are some letters, If you work in fingerprinting or disputes areas and some customer phone contact on those areas as well. Genrally though its all computer based like our kid says.

No mate. Is all based on the Skills and Behaviours. Although the form asks for Quals, they don’t really have any reference as to who gets the job. As SD will confirm if you can talk the talk on the Skills and Behaviours you don’t actually need to be able to Walk the Walk. It’s a mad way of doing it IMO.

And the public wonder why CRB get fuck all work done. TLW is to blame.

It depends on what area you end up in. I don’t think you will worry about work in any area as most of the work is relatively easy, too easy if anything. Some areas are more involved than others. Unless you’re coming from other Government area you will start on £14,924. Promotion is quite good as where still relatively new and expanding quite a bit. If you’re good you can get promoted fairly quickly. My little bro MagnificentMasc was here about a year before he moved up to the next grade which starts at £20K. Im doing the interviewing and sifting of forms for the AO jobs. Like i say if you do go for it and you need help with the competency based form (As they are a pain in the arse if you've never done one), give me a shout.

Relatively good. If you competency’s are fine you stand a good chance, as we are looking for quite a few staff.

They are the best forzen Pizzas around. I had a Chicken one last week. The asda ones are ok. Iv had that bacon cheese burger one. I liked it but i find they have a better texture if you cook them longer on a lower heat than stated.

Thats strange. Its always the other way round for me Sayers is always mouth burningly hot, whilst Greggs is always luke warm.

I quite like it. I don't like Hugh Dennis, but like you say the non scripted thing makes the show and i don't mind him in this. The two younger kids are great the girl especially. She reminds me of my little girl.
