  1. I fucking hate players like Diouf. Makes me really angry when I see players behave like that. Diouf has a lot of talent but lets himself down by acting like a complete little prick. Doesn't deserve the chance to be playing football every week. Plenty of players behaved themselves and conducted themselves professionally yet they've had their careers either cut short or ruined by injury - Jamie Redknapp for one. Nice guys finish last eh? Bolton and all their horrible chavvy little inbred Manc supporters are welcome to this low life. Could have all been so different if the summer of 2002 had seen us end up with Duff. Can't change it now though, and I'm sure Gerard knows that as much as anyone.
  2. Got told this joke about a Scouser, but its quite funny if you change it to a Teessider or Mackem A Mackem walks into the Job centre and declares he's desperate to work. "Listen mate, I'm a hard worker. I'll graft all day. I really want to work. I'm sick of sponging of the state". "Ok. Well theres a job come up that might suit you. Someone is needed by an adult video company. They want someone who can look after the models, in return they'll sleep with you and make all your fantasies come true. Make sure they know when and where they have to be for filming and as well as a good wage you'll get all the sex you want with stunning girls who are up for anything. "Fuckin hell mate! You're having me on, you've gotta be taking the piss" "Well you started it!" Oh how I'm looking forward to 20th November.
  3. Dave, I sit in block 202 (unfortunately) as the name might suggest
  4. Not heard anyone blame him for our performance nick, just his overall handling of the game was shite. I was kind of hoping one of our lads would get a knock and need physio treatment just to see what would have happened after the Savage incident! The best referees are the ones you don't notice. Perhaps someone should tell Rennie....
  5. If Baros is even a doubt he shouldn't be considered. We can't afford for him to make a slight injury into one that could keep him out for two or three weeks. Let the lad have a rest. Kirkland Josemi Carragher Hyypia Traore Finnan Biscan Alonso Riise Pongolle Garcia
  6. Probably. Its not really about his form though. He's just one of those players I've never liked. Gets my support on a Saturday but thats it. IF his form takes a huge turn around and he starts putting in more effort I'll remove the 'shitbag' and just refer to him as 'Horrible'
  7. Well lets just hope the horrible little shit bag doesn't play on Wedneday night and spoil the dream by showing Boro exactly what type of player he is!
  8. No. Usually get them in advance myself though as they're normally a bit cheaper and saves queuing.
  9. For future reference, stick http://www.qjump.co.uk in your favourites You dont have to register for that one
  10. Its my niece's birthday next week and I was looking through the online shop for a pressie and found this: What do you reckon? Think she might be a bit insulted even at the tender age of 1? Talk about stating the bloody obvious!
  11. I wasn't sure if he was a centre back or left back. Probably would be best to leave Djimi where he is anyway really, you're right about not wanting to switch him about.
  12. So therefore not likely to travel with the squad tomorrow night. Whats his form been like this season? Looks like Mellor, Potter, Warnock and Whitbread will all play a part though. Sinama, Diao and Biscan all in contention as well. Cisse, Hamann, Hyypia and Garcia are being rested and won't be travelling. Team to play tomorrow? Kirkland Josemi Carra Traore Whitbread Potter Diao Biscan Warnock Mellor Sinama
  13. Perhaps his name doesn't get sung enough as theres too many do gooders at the match who are offended by the word 'twat' ? O_o He's Scouse, he's sound He's worth a billion pounds....
  14. Yawn........... Time to get worried when we aren't creating any chanes at all, let alone not converting them. We look like getting goals from all over now. Our options aren't limited to only the strikers. And how good is it to be the only side in the country with a 100% home record? Balls to Arsenal's records - they never went a whole season winning every home game did they? The future looks good. I can handle us losing at places like OT and the Bridge if we're winning our home games. (Had the Tottenham and Bolton games come later in the season when the team had a bit more unity we probably would have won them aswell)
  15. Really don't like these myself. The ones with foreign teams are ok for souvenirs, but I don't like seeing so many Celtic and Rangers ones. It amazes me how many people turn up to our games in Celtic shirts! Maybe some were/are worn in tribute to King Kenny but I really don't like all this crap about us and Celtic being best of friends. Its got really fashionable for people (of all clubs) to have a liking for Celtic. Obviously they were great after Hillsborough and there's been a bond since, but I don't get the whole arse kissing thing. If you're gonna wear a scarf, make it a red one and leave the souvenir ones at home.
  16. Cisse's attitude has pissed me off so far, but I think we do need to be patient. He's still a very young lad who's moved over to a new country, and is having to adapt to a new style of football and a completely new lifestyle. He was brought in by Houllier - who had been in contact with him for over 2 years - and Houllier then of course left before Cisse even arrived, I bet that knocked Cisse's confidence a bit as he clearly had a lot of time for Houllier. He also seemed desperate to play with Owen and the same happened with him. He is one of those players who has a slefish attitude and when things aren't going well he's the sort of player who'll get a bit sulky, but in time he'll mature. And if he starts banging in the goals I don't care how arrogant he is. Look at Henry and Pires? Horrible twats but great players. Cisse must be pretty frustrated at the moment. Be patient. His attitude and performances will improve, its just going to take a while.
  17. He did well last yeah. I still think he's a horrible, cheating, arrogant little shit-bag though. I absolutely hated this guy when he was at Leeds and can't say I feel too differently now! He did seem a bit more interested last night though. Perhaps he needs to see Warnock and Riise playing to see that he doesn't have a guaranteed place now?
  18. Never ever write them off. Their midfield certainly isn't what it was though. At the start of the season I predicted a top four of: Arsenal Man Utd Liverpool Chelsea Still stand by that. Anyone else want Man Utd to win next Sunday? Getting really sick of all this Arsenal crap, and its getting very boring. One part of me would love us to be the first to beat them, but I don't care who does it I just want someone to finally beat them smug little cunts!
  19. There was an interview on the e-season ticket a few weeks back with him. he basically doesn't care about what anyone thinks of him. He was asked how it felt to be blamed for 'costing us goals' last season and he just shrugged and basically said he didn't give a shit if people blamed him or not! Also had a bit of a whinge about being played out of position - which is why he probably wasnt bothered about making mistakes in defence as simply, he isnt a defender. Think anyone would have smiled after Igor's goal yesterday - apart from H*rry K*well. Warnock with another assist (Although it was more of a well worked team goal, he'll still get the credit stat wise), and he was only on the pitch for a few mins.
  20. My first concern was for the driver of the car, but all is ok. The driver was taken to hospital but is in a stable condition.
  21. Queuing fans miss Kewell By Anthony Peterson October 14, 2004 ANGRY soccer fans missed most of Harry Kewell's rare Sydney performance on Tuesday because of long queues to buy and collect tickets. Ticket offices at Aussie Stadium went into meltdown as overwhelmed staff attempted to cope with the demand generated by Kewell's first Australian appearance in three years. Some fans did not enter the stadium until late in the first half - well after hometown hero Kewell had scored his goal in the eighth minute. The Liverpool star missed the second half after suffering an ankle injury, further disappointing unlucky fans caught at the back of the line. Nineteen thousand spectators - the stadium holds 40,000 - attended the Confederations Cup qualifier against the Solomon Islands. But Kewell's late inclusion in the team caused a last-minute rush for tickets. Soccer Australia estimated 5000 fans arrived at the stadium without a pre-purchased ticket. Lines at the two sales windows on the eastern and western side of the stadium snaked for 80m. Those who had paid for but not collected tickets were not spared and found themselves stuck in a frustrating queue. The 7.30pm kick-off compounded peak-hour traffic snarls around Moore Park. Residents complained of a gridlock which added 30 minutes to trips home. SA yesterday confirmed all ticket boxes were opened and fully operational. About 6000 tickets had been sold by the end of Friday but interest skyrocketed after Kewell was announced fit to play on Sunday. Fans also complained of long queues for beer and food which lasted for up to 15 minutes. Despite the wait, spectators were well behaved with police reporting no problems on the night. http://foxsports.news.com.au/story/0,8659,11063762-23215,00.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saddos.
