  1. Do FSG actually get onto things like that though? They clearly haven't got a clue. It just seems like Rodgers could bullshit them until the cows come home.
  2. True, but he got the job based on his bullshit which he couldn't back up and ending up setting us back years . He defrauded and manupulated the owners to get the job with that dossier and salesman speak, knowing they were clueless about the game. He did it again in the summer to save his job and sell out his staff. I bet Pascoe and Marsh aren't sympathetic.
  3. Cech this season the only one I can remember for a while where the opposition keeper has had a worldie. Incidentally the only half of football we've played well since about March.
  4. I suppose Rodgers told Gerrard at half time to shoot every time he got the ball in the second half, panic and lose all sense of patience. He can be extremely thick at times. More Hodgson loving as well.
  5. Rodgers: "No matter what league a team is from, when they defend like Carlisle did it can be very difficult to break down."
  6. He's a bellend. Narrow minded bigot when the only memorable years of his career were under a (shock horror) foreign manager. His part in foisting Hodgson on us automatically cancels out the Old Trafford goals. Any opinion on Liverpool, particularly managers, is null and void after that disaster.
  7. If his good season at Bolton came a year later he could have beat Rodgers to the job (dossiers notwithstanding) and it'd be Rodgers managing the New York Cosmos or whoever and us imploring how Coyle ever got the fucking job. There's a reason proper clubs don't appoint one season wonders or flash in the pans. Most of them disappear without a trace. Appointing Mike Walker should have relegated Everton.
  8. Why does it always come back to not signing Ashley Williams, as if that would have sorted everything? It was Rodgers who said what a great leader Dejan Lovren was going to be. He doesn't mention that it was the committee that signed Sturridge and Coutinho and Rodgers would have preferred Clint Dempsey and Tom Ince. Murphy didn't give Rafa the same benefit. A bad few months and he was in the NOTW calling for his head.
  9. He's just got very lucky. He was in the right place at the right time to fool some very gullible people (I bet he laughs every day over that dodgy dossier). In another year It could have just as easily been Phil Brown, Ian Holloway, George Burley, Paul Lambert, Owen Coyle or Alan Pardew who had similar CV's to Rodgers and a few of which provide the same kind of fluff and bullshit. He managed to blag himself an interview and used the full snake oil salesman act on a bunch of jokers who don't know any better. Backed up by the likes of Ian Ayre to strengthen his own position. He reminds me particularly of Owen Coyle or David O'Leary.
  10. To be fair this isn't exactly a quote of Rodgers sycophancy: Basically calling him a narcissistic fool.
  11. Ha ha http://www.90min.com/posts/2584297-mario-balotelli-likes-instagram-post-appearing-to-mock-brendan-rodgers?a_aid=35507
  12. Henderson's a good box-to-box midfielder. Milner's a decent wide player. If you're going to play him someone completely out of his comfort zone and skill set (regardless of where he wants to play) then he's not going to look good.
  13. The worst thing was the fact we had near enough a full side out and still got taken to pens. Even when Hodgson lost to Northampton it was purely a reserve team with players he didn't know much about. United rested a few and beat a decent Championship side 3-0. Chelsea the same and won 4-1 away at the League One leaders. Southampton won 6-0 at a Championship side. We've got a must win game on Saturday and don't feel we can beat a struggling League Two team without playing most of the first XI and still need pens. The early cup games against this sort of opposition should be used to develop the likes of Ibe, Gomez and Rossiter, but Rodgers is in self-preservation mode now and will burn players out if he needs to.
  14. He's not as good as Henderson. He's a poor man's Dirk Kuyt playing in central midfield. That's all he is.
  15. He's a decent wide player, no more no less.. He's a bloody awful CM but everyone knew that anyway apart from the fraud who has proven time and time again he's got no eye for a player at all.
  16. Good job we won or they'd get Keith Curle in as next manager. These cunts are destroying this football club. Ayre, Rodgers, Gordon, FSG the lot of them. They're all self-serving incompetents. Death by a thousand cuts (or cunts).
  17. Because once he's out of Liverpool he won't see a big club again.
  18. Biggest fraud in football since George Weahs cousin. He's a fucking salesman not a manager.
  19. Oh great we're through and the fraud keeps his job. yipee.
  20. Nobody at LFC with any power or authority wants someone with any real talent appointed for one of the leading roles at the club because they're too scared he'd show them up. Ayre's probably got them all terrified with tales of big bad Rafa who didn't suffer fools. While Rodgers is the perfect fool stooge.
  21. He can't, but that's what we've been relying on to win games all year. He shouldn't have that pressure and burden on him. If Sturridge and Benteke can stay fit and do what they're paid to do and Firmino can justify the fee then there's far less pressure on Coutinho to be the matchwinner every week.
  22. 12 months - with a couple of months of acceptable performances in the middle of it when the "throw a load of shit at the wall and hope some sticks" policy paid off briefly.
  23. Said all summer whatever the plan is now, if there is one, it will be something completely different a month or two into the season because he's making it up as he goes along. Throwing a load of shit at the wall and hoping some sticks is his default mode because he's a fraud and hasn't got a clue. I bet it doesn't say that in his dossiers, but he's the ultimate bullshit merchant and players figure that out quickly. They usually look lost for direction, but you could tell the likes of Moreno, Sakho and Ings have come in and just thought 'fuck it i'm taking my chance' and have played off the cuff. As for Sakho he wasn't playing because he's still trying to prove himself right over Lovren and made himself look even worse bigging up before West Ham before the performance he put in there. He brought Sakho in against Bordeaux and then all of a sudden he's signed a 5 year contract and Rodgers changes his tune. He wanted Sakho and Moreno out because they're committee buys, but they should be in the team with their clear quality developed to improve them as defenders. But that's something the manager is incapable of doing and he's still sulking over Bertrand and Williams.
  24. Comolli was a good scout compared to the shite there now. Just should never have been in charge of negotiating transfers and was given too wide a brief beyond 'head scout' which left him in the referees room dealing with the Suarez-Evra fall out. Typical clueless FSG. He never recovered from the Carroll debacle in terms of his reputation but he shouldn't have been in that position to negotiate the transfer. Even so though his hits make up for his misses. At Spurs Modric, Bale and Berbatov alone went for £150m. The Suarez and even Carroll sales seen most of the money spent recouped. Under the pack of frauds at Liverpool now how much are we going to get for Lovren, Lallana, Balotelli, Markovic, Origi and co?
