  1. Why has this cunt not been dealt with yet? It's been over a month since he requested a personal hearing against his charge. FA probably trying to get some "language sarcasm" experts in.
  2. So what is Dempsey's fee? Villa had £7m rejected earlier today. Latest reports are that we offered £4m, but Spurs offered near £7m again. If that's true, its not only incompetent, but as the players was keen to come to LFC, its also highly insulting to Fulham. we should have equalled their offer, end of. Jeez, squabbling over £3m after the amount we've dished out recently! Madness!
  3. Just watched that Horizon prog. Truly mind-boggling in scale. So the Universe is infinite now? But they are also looking at multi universe collisions? Is this not contradictory? Hard to get my head round this sometimes.
  4. I know we shouldn't take notice, but you just know the rest of the football world will use this as yet more shit to throw at us! I remember the days when there wasn't sight of a league table published until after at least 5 games, now it changes after each goal FFS! File todays programme under another shit weekend.
  5. Pity, was hoping he was going to be in the Birtles, Davenport or Forlan mold.
  6. What's he done wrong there? As for Fulham, they're just pissed because they probably thought LFC would overpay like they normally do. Agree with a lot of other comments regarding our "standing" in modern football. Unfortunately, we have been behind somewhat. We should have been investing in stadium/infrastructure/commercial revenue in the late 80's early 90's like Man Utd did. I do appreciate it was probably a lot easier for them as the location of OT made it easier to expand. Also, we were probably still too "big" and successful for the modern sugar daddy model as well. Chelsea and Man City were lower level underachiever's than ourselves. Chelsea were cheap to buy and City already had a modern stadium handed to them on a plate. Both easy scenarios for investors. It's taken a few years now, but I'm slowly convincing myself that we will be in the also ran pack as far as the league title is concerned until or if football casts off this modern financial model. We can't compete on transfers anymore, simple as that and will be feeding of the scraps after the big ,bloated money boys have had they're fill. On the up side, we are still a big story media wise and that's why they make such a fuss about our stories. We are still a big TV audience draw. As Oscar Wilde once said, "It's better to be talked about than not talked about at all" .
  7. Fucker shouldn't even have been playing these last 2 games. Should've been serving a ban after getting sent off in Community Shield.
  8. Ah fucksticks! 2-2 Hopeful Cahill shot from 30 yards. Poor keeping. Chelsea we go on to win this now.
  9. See Lumpard scores another penalty from a foul on Hazard. That's 2 pens in as many games. Reports say he went down a bit easy. Frustrating when Suarez practically would have to be decapitated in the box to be awarded a pen! Oh 1-2 now!
  10. Indeed, bit of a coincidence. Just hope that police/insurance (if he had any) just do the right thing and take it at face value. The law on right to die for illnesses like this need looking at. I know they're there to protect people from the Shipmans of this world, but surely there is some way all parties can come to an informed legally binding decision with strict controls. The murder laws in UK are too strict and inflexible. Needs grading like in America.
  11. No Way! Agree with Micra's, but without doubt Audi's and their perma LED lights are the new BMW drivers. If you see what I mean. Actually, what is it with the always on LED's? Should go on the instant cunt identifier list.
  12. Poster boy for what exactly? What ludicrous language to use in a written judgement! As regards the punishment, didn't really expect much more tbh. It was twitter/disrepute/improper conduct charge and is pretty much what Babel got but with the racial aggravation on top.
  13. HeHe, guess you're not going to be shooting all the pigeons then 'Lurtzy?
  14. These pieces are brilliant! Could watch them all night.
  15. Good points lads about the BBC and showing other sports. So what if the BBC don't have live f***ball rights, these olympics have shown that there is a lot more choice out there and sports crying out for more TV coverage that a public service broadcaster should cater for.
  16. Just like to add my appreciation and enjoyment of the last 3 weeks. Always sort of enjoyed the Olympics, but i feel the combination of a local time zone and the most comprehensive TV/digital/internet coverage ever (god knows what it'll be like in 4 years!) has taken it to a whole new level. Of course the most GB success in modern history has also helped. The level of sportsmanship and mutual respect on show puts the f******l to shame really. No coincidence that two of the most noteworthy acts of cuntishness, booing a national anthem and competitor and yesterdays Brazilian tantrum involved f******l ? No doubt in a few weeks all this will fade and we'll all be bitching and moaning and call each other cunts again! It was nice while it lasted! Also pleased that the organisation seemed to go off well despite the doom-mongerers and just hope that this "legacy" bears some fruit and doesn't turn out to be a white elephant.
  17. Surely there must be a massive day of reckoning coming up for these cunts. The fact that they are able to service their debt at the moment is being masked by continued success. A few years like last years without success will quicken that reckoning. You can't keep continuing refinancing debt and diluting shares by continuous floatations. The money has to be paid off surely sometime. The only real viable out for the Glazers is a super rich Arab type, but the longer this goes on the less likely I reckon.
  18. Hoping for a much improved, coherent performance and few goals. No more "it's only pre-season" excuses. Our season HAS started!
  19. Hahaha, I'd noticed them in the background of the track events and always meant to look up what they were for!
  20. Well, seeing as its City, let them fucking pay through the nose! Should hold out for £25m.
  21. Just like to add to the opinions of others on here regarding the pure sportsmanship that I see at these meetings. Compared to that other sport we all watch the rest of the time. The Olympics is just amazing to watch. I suppose because it's only every 4 years, but I always forget how good it is. I find myself watching stuff that I wouldn't give the time of day to any other time! Women's weightlifting and Fencing spring immediately to mind! Something else I noticed last night during the 100m final is how quiet the crowd went from a really loud to complete silence for the start. You just know at some other sports you would get some knob shouting something out trying to be clever.
  22. Aye, I remember they shafted Hoy by changing the rules. No doubt they'll change more!
  23. GB really rule the track cycling world, don't they? Stunning. Regarding the "walking", isn't it that both feet have to be in contact with the road/track at all times? I guess that funny style they come up with is the fastest you can go without lifted a foot off.
