I think his comments after the game were disappointing, we are Liverpool, we are not Fulham and as others have said its not about being in the Rafa camp or not...its about wanting the best for our club. I for one was hoping we didnt appoint Roy, yes he had a good record with Fulham and has alot of experience but what has he ever achieved? I cant help but think he was appointed as he has a proven track record of getting more out of players (I quote Broughton from Roys unveiling PC), which to me reads cheap, someone who wont rock the boat and make demands of the board/owners. He is an average manager, ok at best and I cant get over todays decision to play Slow (Lucas) and Slower (Poulsen) in central midfield they offer nothing! At least with Masch there was drive and energy, the two of them couldnt even get there foot on the ball today...if your going to play two defensive midfielders at least make sure they can fucking defend and help out the defence.
We were terrible for 45 mins against Arsenal, we were shocking against Man City, scraped a win at home against West Brom and were terrible today. If not for Reina (who is a god!) we could have been 2-3 down at least. Its always the same, we sit back invite pressure, counter, hit the ball long and hope for the best. As for his substitutions, 75 mins...what difference can a player make in 15 mins? FFS
