We live to fight another day then. Defeat here would have buried us and considering the run we’d been on it wouldn’t have been much of a shock. Fulham is a difficult place to go when they’re at it, but thankfully they weren’t and it was fairly comfortable in the end. The easy thing to say here is that the damage was done in the first leg. Obviously it was, but that’s not what I want to hear today as I feel like it’s excusing the clueless, lifeless and gutless second half we saw here. This tie was not over after last week.
