My girlfriend for a bit now has been wanting to have a few weekends away in the UK and see different parts of the country(ies), I fancy it too but haven't really done this all that much. I have just been a fella that books a holiday abroad and off we go and have a couple of weeks in the sun. Now with the weather being shite in this country It can be difficult to plan anything here, I was just wondering what you guys did with your partner, where you got of to, what's to get up to in the area? and are there any decent sites that offer good value/deals. We are looking for a B&B/Hotel with stuff to do in the local area/town/city, able to have a few drinks at night. Any of you guys do this on a regular or semi-regular experience? any help would be grateful and rep will be bestowed.

Yeah i do it properly.. Well she recently broke her leg so dancing is out of the question Cinema is too boring and everyone does it i though of Frisbee Golf but dont no where the fuck does it. I'm out of ideas haha.

Just been slapped with a £30 fixed penalty (code 214 whatever the fuck that is) for parking in the same place I do every day outside work along with countless other drivers. I was parked half on the road half on the verge, like I do every day and as do dozens of other drivers. How can I appeal against this? Is there a reasonable chance I can successfully appeal against the bastards?

Alright Chaps & Chapettes, Me and the girlfriend are booked and ready to go to New York during the bank holiday weekend at the end of May. What I would like is some recommendations for things to do aside from the usual tourist stuff. If anyone has any tips and or knows of any good websites that would be great. We also like the idea of finding a nice indie bar where we can listen to some music and chill. Were staying just around the corner from fith avenue if that helps. Pitifully weak rep available to all those that help.

Well just after Xmas actually. Looking to fly out on Boxing day for 3 nights. I want to go somewhere in Europe with the mrs, but not sure where. We've thought about Brussels, Budapest or Prague, but we're still open to other ideas. Anyone been to any of those 3? any good hotel tips? or is there anywhere else you'd recommend over Xmas time?
