  1. ...should be to field our reserves against Chelsea next week. Let them roll us over and Chelsea win the league. Ferguson would be apoplectic with rage. 5 years of bitter hatred towards one another, bickering and bitching about the other, Rafa should leave English football with the ultimate 'fuck you' to the biggest cunt in the game. Go on Rafa, you know you want to...
  2. Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has warned his team-mates that they must expect a fully-committed Liverpool when they meet the Reds at Anfield on Sunday. Should Rafael Benitez's men beat the Londoners then it would hand a massive boost to Manchester United in their bid to win a 19th domestic top flight title and surpass Liverpool's record of 18. For that reason, some observers have felt that Benitez's team may not be at their sharpest and most committed, but Lampard refutes such suggestions emphatically. "There is no chance 11 Liverpool players will go out and consider United winning the title on what happens in that game. They will go out to win. They will want to be professional," the England star told reporters.Chelsea may have battered Stoke City 7-0 at the weekend, but Lampard is professional enough to know that the win will count for nothing unless they take the title. Frank Lampard expects no favours from Liverpool in Chelsea's title push - Goal.com What do u think?
  3. Has anyone used these in the past? Seventy or eighty sheets seems like a fair whack for a ticket, programme and a cuppa but the bar and food cues I'd imagine would be a lot shorter. Do these go on sell on staggered dates the same as regular tickets or can you buy them as soon as they're released?
  4. Rafa: Fans deserve a trophy - Liverpool FC Rafael Benitez today insisted he is determined to repay the Liverpool fans for their support this season by leading them to a European final in May. The Reds take a break from their pursuit of a top four finish in the Premier League when they resume Europa League battle with Unirea in Bucharest on Thursday night, and Benitez claims that far from the competition being a distraction from the club's main goal this season, it provides the chance for silverware to return to Anfield at the end of a difficult campaign. "When you win a European competition it is always very important," he said. "Stevie and Carra have that experience, also it is something I know from Valencia. "If you cannot be in the Champions League, you have to do your best in this tournament and we would love to give a trophy to our fans. We want to do something important. "We have got to try to keep winning games, doing our best and you never know - we might be able to win the trophy. "But first we know we are playing a good team. They are well organised, compact and they showed why they did well in the group stages last week." While Benitez admits he would much rather be competing in the Champions League at this stage of the season, he insists he's proud of the way his players recovered from going out in the group stages of the competition. "We know it has not been a good season, but all teams go through periods like this," he added. "You just have to carry on, keep working hard and move forward. This is a different and difficult situation but we have to manage. "The attitude of the players has been fantastic. It was massive to see the way they reacted to going out of the Champions League."
  5. the team i want ---------Reina--------- Carra-Skrtel-Agger-Aurelio ----------Masch---------- -----Aquilani---Gerrard------ Maxi-------------------Riera -----------Kuyt------------ subs Cavalieri Insua Kelly Lucas Pacheco Babel Ngog wouldnt risk Yossi now Maxi is available again what i think he will play -------Reina---------- Carra-Skrtel-Agger-Insua ------Lucas-Masch----- Kuyt------Stevie---Maxi -----------Ngog-------- subs Cav Kelly Aurelio Aquilani Yossi Riera Babel got a feeling it will be a draw 1-1 or 2-2
  6. If it's neck and neck between the rent boys and the mancs going into our home game against Chelsea, the penultimate game of the season, should we purposely lose the game to give Chelsea a greater chance of winning the title? Thus depriving the scum of number 19?
  7. this is not a piss take, im being honest here why did Rafa spend so much money on this guy and then just refuses to play him? besides, isnt he supposed to play just behind the striker....if so, isnt that where Gerrard plays now? seriously, why???? does even Rafa know
  8. Some decent games today, though the better ones will be tomorrow. Particularly looking forward to the South Coast derby that should be a belter.
  9. Right, posting this thread early to get 'that' out of our systems. Get in the ground early, get the place rocking and lets fuckin' 'av it. Hope to see a massive reaction from the boys on Wednesday. possible team selection?..thoughts?
  10. Well lets hope Villa are as shit as they were today. A huge match for us now with the possibility to get the gap down to 2 points Personally I think we will get crucified At least we have a chance now.
