  1. He was brilliant in the 77 European Cup final, ran the legs off Bertie Vogts. He was a battler who would never give up a true Liverpool great for me. I was gutted when he left and said to my mates that I thought that Dalglish would struggle to replace him. How wrong can you be ??
  2. I’m pretty sure the cheats will be in for Paquetta again.
  3. We need a deep lying midfielder and also cover for a centre back and his price would not be too high. I think it’s a possibility that we sign him but It’s also possible that we don’t make any signings of note given our history down the years.
  4. Yeah the ball just about made it over the line . Pretty sure he broke from just inside their half.
  5. I think there is a strong possibility that we will sign him to play in front of the back four.
  6. If we want a player that goes straight in we need a genuine quality 6
  7. Owen does my head in. Why the fuck does he not turn around and say “ the ref says he won the ball , he clearly didn’t and goes through the back of Hudson Odoi which is clearly a foul, why is that not clear to VAR?”
  8. How many “franchises “ have moved cities or been relegated? We can’t look at the States for guidance.
  9. My first 2 Liverpool loves Sir Roger and The Saint.
  10. Keep up keep , posted yesterday An Australian budget airline, started last year, has just gone belly up. All flights cancelled, planes repossessed. So what, you may ask. "Bonza’s fleet of Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft had been repossessed. Bonza’s private equity owners, the US firm 777 Partners, own the airline’s fleet of Boeing 737 Max 8 planes. The parent company also part owns the Canadian low-cost carrier Flair and leases its aircraft assets between the airlines"
  11. Was about to say that . His use of wingers to create means , that at Fetenoord he rotates his wingers to ensure their physical fitness. They also have an interesting scouting concept in South America where they scout the lower divisions for talent rather than the well known names.
  12. Agreed , that’s why I would have loved to have seen their explanation if Cody had put the ball in the net. We all know it would have been disallowed.
  13. No doubt , but I honestly think Nunez would score a bagful there . His stats for the UCL show 2 in 8 games. I don’t watch them a lot but whenever I’ve seen he misses a lot of chances.
  14. I think Izak is a classy player who can finish . I don’t know how Martinez is in there he’s been awful every time I’ve seen him.
  15. It would be interesting to compare when he blew and where the ball was . The norm would be to blow when he was closer to the incident . The keeper hadn’t gone down and their med staff were all sat down and Taylor had moved upfield. Like I said it would be interesting to see the explanation if Gakpo had put the ball in the net and Taylor disallowed it.
  16. I think at the very least there would need to have been some kind of a lie spun. If he had reacted immediately he would have beat the whistle IMO.
  17. Think it says a bit about Gakpo tbh. A natural goalscorer like Suarez would have put it in the net and see what the ref did.
  18. Agree on those 4 never heard of Kubo
  19. Ah the old “ try working a normal job” jibe. It’s never held water and it’s a daft argument. We take the piss out of the bitters for the toxic atmosphere at the pit and yet we are calling out players who have the temerity to fall at the final hurdle . We are not good enough to win the title now but FFS I guarantee if this was offered at the start of the season a large number of you would have been happy.
