  1. I hope you get to quote this later to make fun of me, but there is literally no chance of that with your boy out there missing everything.
  2. Look, I have never liked any of the forwards (minus Salah) and I thought that might have been a me-thing, but turns out I'm just absolutely right.
  3. He'd be picked in this game. The way the others are playing right now is irrelevant.
  4. He has been a perfectly acceptable one. The one we bought is simply not very good and can't play every game.
  5. He'd be part of the transfer discussions but there will be people above him, yeah. Biggest question for me is tactically, really. Can you implement in the Premier League what you can implement in the Eredivisie where the intensity is way lower, the level is way lower.
  6. On paragraph 1; of course. On paragraph 2; of course not.
  7. The merseyside derby is terrible, to be fair. Other than winning it, there's nothing about it that is usually enjoyable.
  8. We don't even know if what he did tactically in the Eredivisie is applicable here, though.
  9. I do hope the style of play and possible similarity to Klopp in that regard was just a very secondary factor in the decision to hire him, to be honest. The Dutch League is so bad, I'm pretty sure you could do almost anything tactically there. It's what ten Hag did; he was playing possession footy at Ajax and then as soon as he came to the Premier League, he changed it because he was like, oh I can't do that here. Maybe that's just because he's mentally weak and doesn't believe in what he does, but it's still illustrative of something. Certainly, if we eliminated Amorim because he plays 3 at the back and presses a bit less, that's not a good reason. I would hope it's more about; ok this guy has done really good things at two unfancied clubs, and he seems like a big personality, so he's got something about him.
  10. Sure. That is honestly a better reason than much of what I've read on here.
  11. The football is way more attacking under De Zerbi than under Potter. They genuinely had the 2nd best attack in the league last season. This season, he has a much worse, injury riddled squad and has the added European games. That is just too much to do and it was of course going to be worse in the league. I dont know why he would even think about staying at Brighton, to be honest. He got them to an unprecedented level and all that meant is more big players left. Clearly he is on a hiding to nothing given this absurd sentiment that he is is actually doing badly.
  12. One, look it up, you lazy bum. Two, Villa have spent 130m net since Emery was there. Brighton have made a 170m profit since De Zerbi is there. Gee, wonder why fucking Brighton, who De Zerbi led to their highest ever finish and European Football, arent in 4th, Fuck me man, the arguments are so bad.
