  1. Let's have a game of call my bluff, or Russian roulette with a narcissistic madman. If we win we get back a slice of Eastern Ukraine, if we lose we get a nuclear war.
  2. He's very good to his mates is Putes, if he likes you he'll help you gain oilfields, football clubs and untold wealth but if he takes a dislike to you it's just a small bottle of Novichok aftershave or one solitary para gliding lesson for your birthday.
  3. Veteran Tory Roger Gayle said if this was a budget and it got voted down they'd have to resign and we"d be looking at an election. Unfortunately they framed it as a fiscal statement so it doesn't qualify.
  4. Johnson is 10/1 third favourite to be Britain's next PM.
  5. Putin speaking again, don't he fucking go on....and on.
  6. From my limited knowledge of America Biden seems to be doing well domestically, although both him and Harris both have an unnerving habit of fucking up press conferences. The problem is any slip up by a politician on either side in America will be magnified and then ridiculed. Here's Harris on the border of South/North Korea.
  7. The amount of media at the President of the United States press conferences ensured that hit all over the main news and current affairs channels. No hiding place if you're President and you drop a clanger.
  8. It's become a habit, don't know why they dont put an adviser/minder by his side so he instantly knows the way to go.
  9. Not sure I can take much more of this economic good news,
  10. I don't know. I'm going off the Anubis link I replied to.
  11. As I was saying earlier, hopefully national interviewers will take heed from local journos closer to the ground.
  12. Promised to govern for all Italians one day, takes money off them the next.
  13. I was referring to her comments on African child labour and the way African countries have been exploited by France and other European countries.
  14. She got this spot on, unfortunately she took the country down with her,
  15. This new method of ignoring the bullshit is catching. One of the reasons for the totally different tone of questioning by local journos compered to the cozy chat style of Kuensburg although they're all thought of as middle class the gaps grown so wide they now live in different worlds. A local journo will probably have family in the area all experiencing first hand the shit services, run down hospitals, the price of rental and mortgage properties, poor schools, piss poor transport system etc whereas Laura who's salary is £300.000 not including her sidelines lives within that Westminster bubble of subsidised meals/drinks/expenses, transport provided, plus the best private healthcare/education etc. Different worlds. Naga Nunchety does brilliantly here dismissing the tory bollocks, hopefully now this is how the Tories will be treated.
  16. Youre not looking at the bigger picture. It'll all be worth because it'll stop high flyers in places like Burnley fucking off to work in Singapore.
  17. Agreed. The papers are bad enough, why torture yourself twice.
  18. She has got that look. She's right about Britain and Frances disastrous Libyan campaign and she's also bang on the button about how Europe should have done far more to help developing African countries. She's good on the identifican of the causes, it's her 'apparent ' solutions which make her dangerous.
  19. Maybe counties such as France don't need to give so much aid as they've stopped their energy companies passing on huge rises? Plus other countries are raising benefits/minimum wage and slashing travel costs so negating the need for so much 'direct' support perhaps? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/61522123 A chart on the impact of the cost of living increases.
