  1. OK Jay. You're a funny little fella, i will certainly grant you that. You crease us up.
  2. I think you may be very close with that prediction Stronts. It would certainly be an excellent result for Labour if correct.
  3. I'd take a wild punt on the Tories last year in office having something to do with their disastrous poll showings. What is it now, their third leader in the past 5 months? Not one any good. Two broke the law the other broke the economy. I think they may have contributed more than a little to their own downfall. Just a hunch.
  4. Way hey. Listen to Gimpy boy coming over all Jay Cartwright.
  5. Yeh hey. Fabulous news. I for one welcome you back to the Labour fold A Red. We're one big happy family here. I've contacted HQ with news and a gift pack is heading your way. You'll receive a free 6 month subscription for the morning star. Billy Braggs latest CD and a "never kissed a tory, t shirt. I wear mine around Waitroes. Best of all you'll receive a half price invite to the annual Labfest in Somerset this summer. You'll have a cracking little weekend of singing anti war protest songs around the camp fire. Cheap Somerset cider. Anti capitalist poetry recitals and ending with a rousing festival rendition of "we'll keep the red flag flying here" whilst watching the burning of the star spangled banner. Ricos already booked (another who's found his way home) and looking forward to it. Unfortunately I can't be there. Welcome back Comrade.
  6. They're still at it. British Gas spotted breaking into an address in London to install another pre payment meter.
  7. Yeah. Exactly. The old guard wanted to conserve their wealth and status. The free marketeers are crash and burn. The Cameron, Truss mob are reckless gamblers.
  8. The Tory party changed under Thatcher, and not for the better and it was rotten anyway. A lot of post war Tories believed in protecting and preserving British institutions, supporting the health service and funding the welfare state. They were still Tory cunts who only gave scraps for selfish reasons because they believed it helped protect their intrests. Thatcher meanwhle just wanted to set fire to the lot. She deliberately manufactured mass unemployment with the intention of driving down wages to increase profits. Broke up industry and set about smashing the unions. Adam Smith economic shit on steroids. The opening couple of paragraphs of this article touches on it. The rest is behind a paywall (thankfully)
  9. For context. Shells 32 billion profits for the past twelve months is approx 30 times more (approx just over 1 billion) than raised by Children in need since its conception in 1980. Meanwhile agents of British Gas are breaking into the homes of the poor and the vulnerable.
  10. Jobs for family and friends. Gotta help out your mates. Did someone mention Ruth Smeeth?
  11. Looks like Corbs spent yesterday drinking ganga coffees, nibbling on weed biscuits and smoking five skins in Islington. We've all been there.
  12. Yeah your right. He was a free market tree planting cunt.
  13. No I think Oborne, Peter Hitchins and politicians like Jim Prior, Michael Heseltine and all that crew were very old one nation old tory money. Privatisation, and yanks like McGregor got their goat. They wanted a two tier society where old money and British institutions were left alone and everything was kept in house. The house of Lords, game of cricket but keep institutions like Royal and British Rail for us all as one to moan about.A sort of don't step on our toes and we won't step on yours type of England. Many of the old one nation torys hated Thatcher and hated her selling off of British assets to foreign investors. But make no mistake they wanted, and still want a old fashioned system where they stay on the top.
  14. This is madness. Its appalling. Absolutely disgraceful. Its beyond my comprehension. Our biggest gas supplier employing thugs to enter the homes of the most vulnerable whilst at the same time creaming massive profits. I thought I was too long in the tooth to be shocked but this imo is off the scale of cuntyness. And now the journos are digging all the personal stories are coming out, the human side. Makes it so much more shocking.
  15. 1.5 billion. Bloody hell. Bet them roasties were banging.
  16. Rail fares. Extortionate. Rail Service...Dire.. Energy.. Highest prices in Europe. Service.. Record profits but British Gas are forcing their way into poor peoples homes. Royal Mail. The head gave the most disgraceful evidence ever in front of the select committee last week. Water.. today they've announced massive increases to bills in England and Wales. Service. Literally shit. We need our assets back in our hands. Everything else is noise. https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/guides/zsd68mn/revision/6 If you oppose it don't worry their is a home for you. Its called the Tory party. Although the majority of old fashioned one nation tories are now in favour of putting an end to this madness.
  17. Weird, the whole Internet tried to catch the fella out but they couldn't. That's why I asked you to show your findings. Unlike you not to. Weird how you didn't do as I asked and just stick it up. Oh well.
  18. Odd how you didn't screenshot the evidence of your weird searchings, or at least show a shred of evidence. Nevermind.
  19. He's an expert on Geography though.
  20. The BBC gave him a platform when he was an unknown scrot making the tea for that Scum journo bastard Guido Fawkes.
  21. Without wishing to dwell on the point I was trying to make (until it got highjacked) on the Starmer thread. If we remain silent when good people, councillors, Mps etc who have gone out of their way to speak up for us and defend us in the past then say nothing when these people are cast aside then it makes it so much easier for slurs to go unchallenged. You're taking away an important voice. Here's the link again. Here WAS the Labour member of Parliament for Kensington. Every fuckjng strike they slur workers, every fucking time.
  22. As I said "thought". Its not my game. Anyway to the untrained eye it seems Octopus are playing the long game. https://www.theguardian.com/business/2023/feb/01/octopus-says-it-chose-to-ditch-profit-to-keep-energy-bills-down As an aside. I moved from British Gas to Octopus and I find them OK on the whole. They're certainly better than British Gas.
  23. Ah OK. I knew bulb were fucked but I thought Octopus were doing well. Admittedly I don't know as much as our resident expert on energy suppliers (dockers).
