  1. Allen played center mid. Seemed to get off to a shaky start misplacing a few passes, steadily improved as the game went on to give an intelligent and assured performance again for Wales, although the opposition was weak. Allens closing down and pinching of the ball lead directly to the welsh goal whilst Finlands last gasp equaliser came they drove straight through the welsh midfield after Allen had been substituted in the 90th minuet. Imo his performance does not warrant a place against everton but did show why Allen ran away with welsh player of the year ahead of Ramsey, Bellamy, Williams and Bale. Allen needs to rediscover the form he was in before coming to liverpool to cement a place in the side. http://www.uefa.com/memberassociations/association=wal/news/newsid=1875036.html
  2. Joe Allen just been given the man of the match award again for wales tonight.
  3. The wales games 10 min gone and about 6 of them has been spent treating bale after three spectacular triple salkos flying roll overs.
  4. The manager of Barcelona and Man city must be fans like me because apparently they both interested in buying him.
  5. Chile are a good side. Each way bet for the World Cup.
  6. He's better than boss. Don't even need to see the goal to show how better than boss Agger is. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=efViN6whFAU
  7. Slightly off topic but you know the English game is well and truly fucked when the fa appoint an england manager for a game against holland, holland, the team who brought the world total football and that said manager picks scotty stupid haircut parker as captain over Steven Gerrard. Needless to say the result was a good old fashioned leathering for england even though the dutch found it hard to concentrate on the game without laughing at the fella in the middle for england with the armband on running round trying to round trying to foul everyone.
  8. No, and i take your point but even when they were out of the champs league fergurson often changed his midfield. Why? Keep the older players legs fresh, make sure other players are getting big game time, try out different combinations and keep the opposition guessing would be my guess. Unless he was just so pissedup he did as mickey phelan said and just flicked a fucking coin. I would have thought the proof that all players ( especially older ones) need resting is proved by the fact we've got Roy fucking Hodgson personally putting pain killing injections up our captains arse. And Its going on as we speak.
  9. Not sure but i think giroud has scored five. Arsenals strikers are shit, that's why they tried to sign suarez. Strengthen the weak points in the team. If they'd have got him the league would've been theirs.
  10. When Scholes and Giggs hit thirty years of age they were constantly rested by ferguson If your midfield players fail to chip in with goals you've got a little better than zero chance of ever winning the league.

  12. If we kept Suarez because we didn't want to sell to a rival, here's the two sides midfield players. Liverpool .. Gerrard Henderson Lucas Allen Moses Total goals.. 3 Arsenal...... Ramsey Ozil Wiltshire Arteta Flamini Garzola Total goals... 18 Arsenal still have Walcott and Oxlaid Chaimbelin to come back from injury. Our midfield needs strengthening, no question at all.
  13. Could have this fella in January http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/liverpool-dream-dead-says-ex-england-2784146
  14. I wonder if Henderson's best position might end up being full back, especially (please no) if we play a three centre half system.
  15. Did you see the two games when they played against each other when Allen was with swansea? Don't get me wrong i like Henderson, he's a good kid with a great engine, he needs to add goals to his game and show more composure in front of goal, but he's still young and that could come in time. Imo he needs a definitive big game to boost his confidence, a goal for England or the match winner against Everton perhaps? As for Allen, sorry but in my opinion he's a far more intelligent player, takes the ball in tight spaces better, tackles better, reads the game better, is more composed and passes the ball better and until his injury was the better player. He's another one who now he's injury free, needs to step up. As long as Rodgers and Pascoe are here, he'll be here.
  16. But your contradicting yourself, on the one hand you've asked for Henderson to be given time ( as young players should) and then hoping another young player be sold after an injury hit season. I think you're misjudging Rodgers if you don't think he places Allen above Borini and Aspas. Sahin he never seemed that keen on. Allens always been Rodgers blue eyed boy from his time at Swansea. He won't be sold and imo he'll prove himself a very good player. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/339066/Brendan-Rodgers-Joe-Allen-key-to-change-in-Liverpool-fortune
  17. I think you're being a bit unfair on Allen there, saying he has till the end of the season before being sold. Henderson's played fifty odd more games than Allen, he joined a year before. By keeping faith in him we are starting to see rewards, just as wenger is being proved right by keeping faith in Ramsey. Allen deserves the same shot. I'd be amazed if Rodgers sold Allen, considering how highly he rates him. http://talksport.com/sports-news/football/premier-league/130804/joe-allen-can-be-key-liverpool-believes-brendan-rodgers-203018
  18. If i was Rodgers I'd teach Henderson what to do when he gets near the box by putting him in goal in training and have jimmy case run onto balls and fire a load of shots at him full force. He'd never fear anything else on a football pitch again. They do say what dos'nt kill you makes you stronger.
  19. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/news-and-comment/manchester-united-beat-liverpool-to-be-named-the-most-influential-football-club-brand-in-the-world-8932011.html The full list gets worse. Do they get paid for compiling this shit?
  20. Mancs 2nd. The Olympics 1st. The Tour de France 9th. I haven't a fucking clue what these brand thingys mean or if they're relevant to anyone other than the person who made them up. According to this we're above Barcelona and the whole premier league. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/manchester-united-named-footballs-most-2720036
  21. Not sure how true this is regarding the Suarez contract http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/arsenal-transfer-target-luis-suarez-2715265
