I just think some foreign players dont know England but what little they do know will be about London and the Capital. Also what about the players who play up here, what have they got to say about places like Birmingham, manchester and Liverpool.....in comparison to London? These players ask advice from national team mates and friends already playing here, and i wonder how many of the foreigners up north tell them "london's where its at.....there is less to do up north" We have to remember these guys have millions to burn, so they want to have a good time and be seen in the best places. Not quite, i dont think Suarez really wants to go there anyway. No, i think he would stay or would have more of a reason to stay. I think the CL is important but not as important as fans make out. Players use it as an excuse very often. These days winning trophies means a lot less than it used to. Most of these guys care about the wage packet first and being the best 2nd. I just think the whole being in the capital and having much more to do is a bigger pull for foreign players. The agents and managers can sell it easier, and if we are in a bidding war with a london club they can use Liverpool and "the north" as a negative.

They can pay higher wages down there, they have more to do and see down there. Better night life, big lights, big city bla bla bla. Deulofeu is a kid who only went on loan, if we got him he wouldnt be considered a first team player and people would still be moaning. Van wolfswinkel is a name i have heard for years and no top clubs have come in for him. So im not sure how good he really is. The rest are names that smaller clubs can take a punt on, those players will probably improve them but im not sure how much they would improve us.

I dont even think its a football thing, i honestly believe agents and managers can sell London over Liverpool to most players quite easily. Where would a foreign player with loads of money want to live in England? As much as i love Liverpool they are going to choose the glitz and glamour of London over Liverpool most of the time. The london clubs have taken over because they can charge higher prices and thus pay higher wages and have the pull of being in the capital. Northern clubs cant rip off their loyal fans like they do down south, becuase in London they can sell out a stadium without the need for loyal fans.....the place is just too busy and full of tourists for them not to sell out. Thats the reason we dont have the pull anymore......
