    Coates

Surprised that he didn't play for the reserves yesterday, considering Wisdom, Sterling, Suso and Shelvey all have within the past month.
  6. Would have been explosive 20-30 years ago. However, most of Chelsea's fans now are either 10 year olds or yuppies.
  7. Barton slams ‘Bieber’ Neymar Joey Barton hits out at overrated Brazilian star Neymar Posted: 26 March 2013 Time: 02:00 pm Print this article Joey Barton has made yet another enemy after calling Brazilian wonderkid Neymar ‘the Justin Bieber of football’. The former Manchester City and Newcastle United midfielder, who is currently on loan at Marseille in France, hit out at the ‘overrated’ Neymar on Twitter after Brazil’s 1-1 draw against Russia at Wembley Stadium last night. “Neymar is the Justin Bieber of football. Brilliant on the old You Tube. Cat piss in reality...,” Barton said. “Its amazing what some decent you tube footage can achieve. I'll have to get one up doing some keepy-ups in the garden... “Neymar's actually been one of their livelier players tonight... But people should stop chatting pony. He isn't in the same stratosphere as the boy Messi and that Ronaldo fella... “Stop going on about goals in Brazil Lge as well. I once scored 77 in 1 season in the Rainhill and Byrne u14 league and thats a stronger comp.”
  8. Cavani: Suarez wants Champions League... with Liverpool Liverpool will struggle to keep star striker Luis Suarez if they cannot gain Champions League football according to the player's international team-mate, Edinson Cavani. Cavani, who has also been the target of transfer speculation recently, has formed a deadly partnership with Suarez up front for Uruguay, propelling La Celeste to fourth place in the South American World Cup qualifying table. And the Napoli striker is convinced his compatriot has the talent to light up Europe's premier club competition, the Champions League. But if the Anfield club cannot reach the Champions League by the end of next season, Cavani predicts Suarez may have to leave Brendan Rodgers' side to fulfill his European potential. "The fact is that Luis is one of the top strikers in the world and he wants to be playing Champions League football," Cavani was quoted as saying in the Sun. "Of course, Liverpool are not going to make it this season. But if they don't make it next season then they will have a problem. "Luis would love to play in the Champions League with Liverpool. But if he can't then a player of his quality needs to play for a club where he can." However, Cavani said it would be a hard decision for Suarez to move away from Merseyside and the Premier League, with the 26-year-old admitting Suarez has been trying to convince him to make the switch from the Serie A. "I know it meant a lot when Liverpool stood by him through some tough times and he has a lot of love for the club and their fans," Cavani said. "When I speak with Luis he speaks with admiration about Liverpool and the Premier League. He even encourages me to play in England." 10. Scored a nice volley in a 1-1 draw with Paraguay yesterday. Paraguay equalized from an 86th minute defensive error. Must be getting very familiar to him. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/kP50faieWnk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

  13. Same langauge, similar culture, warm climate, wife used to life there, owns property in the city and I think he has in-laws over there. I think he'll stay for next season, but if Barca/Real come calling in 2014 he may be off, with or without CL, and whilst his daughter is still relatively young and not yet settled in her schooling. If he stays beyond that, he'll be here for the long term. I can't see him going to PSG type clubs and Bayern don't have the same Latin clique that Liverpool do and that he so enjoys the company of.
  14. He'll have an Andy Carroll pony tail by the time of our next match.
