    Seems like there are some decent folk in the forum who are interested in LFc. However, the rest of the people who have stuck the boot in to me seem a bunch of small-minded and cowardly dolts. I probably have been to more games than anyone here but I'm greeted like I'm a retarded cunt by people I wouldn't have recognised as Kopites in any way shape or form in Rome 84. Really- have a look at yourself. There is no medal being handed out to you for sitting in your room/office/wherever and spewing anonymous bile at strangers. Thats for trolls, not true reds. I understand the humour aspect, but most of this is just not very witty is it? It's all a bit playground. I'm outta here, what a sad reflection on us all this place is. Liverpool FC has changed beyond all recognition since I used to go to places like Highfield Road and stand in the rain with my fella. I just find this depressing and sad. I was in Rome in 77, was at Hillsborough, fly 4000 miles every year for the memorial. All I wanted was to join a website that was full of interest and wit and opinion about the Reds, not some dark ages troll site with threads about 'mongs'. You know, my sister looked after a Hillsborough victim in Fazakerly young disabled unit who was totally dependent on care and she was sickened when i told her about some of the posts about 'mongs' on here. I hope the haters are proud of themselves- remember, in the eyes of true reds, you too, even, will Never Walk Alone. Peace. see ya.

    can't say i put that much thought into it. Have been in usa a while, missed having LFC fans to talk too. Hit google. Now miss having LFC fans to talk to even more. I wanted to express surpass at the Bale/Suarez thing- which site would you recommend where ppl actually wanna chat about the game and team, rather than be passive-aggressive, sexist or just chat shite?

Im a liverpool fan,is all, first stood on the Kop before most here was born I suspect (1973) As for too old, I used to be a pro cyclist and still compete in triathlon so im probably in a lot better shape than you are-:wallbutt: all i was saying is, its a sad reflection of our media coverage when the first i heard of bale's record is today when he gets booked, yet Suarez and diving is flogged to death- even here on fox soccer

    anyone else see that Tbilisi side in 1980 by the way? Anyone I ever met who was at that match says they were the best european team they ever saw at anfield: we somehow beat them 2-1 at home and then got mullared 3-0 way. they never did anything though. shame.

    Is right!! Waldir Perez, Leandro, Oscar, Junior, Cerezo, Falcao, Socrates, Eder, Zico and on and on- best team Ive ever seen play the game! Most of these played for Flamengo- and they gave us a total lesson in the World Club Cup the previous December too- 3-0 at half time. Like Istanbul but without then seeing Stam get his nose rubbed in it.

And yet- lo and f'ing behold- who has the most yellow cards for diving in the Premier League? Gareth Bale. Yeah, i was a bit surprised- never heard much outrage about his diving over the clamour against Luis!

    in a way. But something about this makes me despair, despite the optimism. We were terrible in the last half of last season and we are still terrible now- not even top half and virtually as many points as games. Strikes me as two bald men fighting over a comb. Crap then- fact. Crap now- fact. More maintenance than progress? No offense meant, just how I see this horrible decline.

How much was the fuckpuppet Hodgeson paid ffs? i don't see anyone slamming him- and he didn't even like being here. Rest of the post is spot on. we are a nowhere club with a nowhere man in charge.     I suspect the money they make at Anfield, apart from what they personally cream off, funds the Red Sox. Have no doubt that this is their real passion and interest- they fill the Boston papers and sports radio airwaves waxing lyrical about the ball team. LFC is never mentioned and is never in their thoughts. How many times has Henry been to Anfield this season? They are unpopular in Boston right now as that club too i in a bit of a shambles, and some of the criticism that we have about the footy is echoed there- under-investment etc. These guys like sports but their passion is business, making a 'model' work that they can then project as a success model for consultancy purposes. They are certainly using LFC as an experiment and it is- in my opinion- failing to deliver, already. By the way, if they had tried to treat a club legend of Boston they way they did King Kenny, the fans would have rioted. Seriously. Their position as owners would be untenable.
