  1. Stupid - it's so nobody can assassinate the Queen's dead body. Durrrr.
  2. As much as the flag wavers are coming out pledging their allegiance, there's as many people fed up with the whole thing (many of whom probably weren't that strongly fed up beforehand but have now been pushed over the edge) - not to mention commonwealth countries who are seeing it as an opportunity to separate. I said earlier on in the thread, the death of the Queen could be the beginning of the end.
  3. How dare she touch one of the proles. Has she no respect!
  4. To be fair he's probably experienced in slow kerb crawling.
  5. Just a Wild Nonce. Probably looking for Andrew.
  6. Thomas, using the death of the Queen to publicly come out as a racist.
  7. To me it seems as good a time as any for people to nail their colours to a mast. To be honest I felt sadder last week when Bill Turnbull died. The Queen to me is just some mysterious figure I've barely seen in my lifetime.
  8. What are her achievements? People going on about the great things she did but it's all lacking in actual detail for me.
  9. Just drafting an email to my director at work: As a mark of respect for the death of Her Majesty, obviously I won't be working for the next ten days. I trust I will still receive full pay as it would be unpatriotic and disrespectful not to pay one of Her Majesty's subjects. God bless her soul, she was a wonderful woman I'm sure you'll agree. Regards.
  10. If she was so nice why didn't she give away all her money and everything she owns in her will? It's fucking bullshit. She was born into unimaginable wealth and immense privilege. Palaces, castles, servants, carriages, horses, rolls Royce's, land rovers, private planes, private trains, jewels, diamonds, gold, silver, platinum. If she loved 'her people' so much why didn't she let homeless people live in one of her many many many homes? Why didn't she turn one of her many homes into a refuge for battered women? And the way they go on about her war effort like she single handedly flew a Spitfire to the Eagles Nest, parachuted out and strangled Adolf. We barely seen her during Covid, she fucked off and hid in a palace while thousands of 'her people' were dying every week. I wasn't bothered by the reaction at first, but the longer this nonsense goes on the more wound up I'm getting! Everyone trying to one-up each other about how sad they are and what an impact it's having on their lives. It's like half the country is having some massive attack of mania, and the rest of us are looking on bewildered - but not allowed to say anything. Like everything else in this ridiculous country (England - although my miss's family are Northern Irish and to be honest they're as manic about the Royals than anyone, it's fucking mental) it's been jumped on by right wing nationalists. The irony is that all of these people are using the death of the Queen for themselves. Half of them don't give a shit that she died, they're just using it as an opportunity to push their own twisted shit. This country has turned into a proper, tinpot basket case.
  11. For a bog standard Chinese I'll usually go for a beef green pepper in black bean sauce.
  12. Enforced grief. You WILL BE SAD. More control of the masses. A great opportunity for those in charge.
  13. How the fuck she gets on telly these days I don't know. "I've lived in a house without central heating." Yes, that was BEFORE CENTRAL HEATING. Everyone lived in a house without central heating BEFORE CENTRAL HEATING. It doesn't mean we should all freeze to death in 2022. The Tories are just rolling society back a bit - we'll have workhouses next.
  14. I reckon half these anecdotes people are telling are completely made up. "It was the year 19 and 59, I was 15 years old and was working in a factory that made fertilizer. Unannounced, Her Majesty came on a trip around the workplace and after trying to clean ourselves as best we could we all lined up and she greeted us one by one. I told her she was the most beautiful woman I'd ever seen. She laughed. It was a wonderful moment. I've never heard anyone laugh like that. She had a special way about her, you know. Not like people today. These snowflakes. Don't know they're born. Never fought for queen and country. She single handedly saved us from the Nazis. I'd just like to say, thank you Ma'am - we'll keep fighting for your country. Against the blacks, Irish and Scousers."
  15. Social media has made me very aware of the huge numbers of people who have mental issues.
  16. She bonded? With a fictional cartoon bear? Give her the Balloon d'Or while we're at it.
  17. It's pretty disrespectful to feed your children a week after the Queen has died. Have you got no respect for her or the things she's done? Food is for Snowflakes anyway.
  18. Charles is a totally disrespectful cunt - imagine becoming King the day of your mother's death! Has he got no respect for her family?! Could he not wait until we'd all recovered? WE ARE GRIEVING! And he's sticking a crown on his head. DISGUSTING.
  19. They're all trying to out-grief each other as well. It's all about RESPECT!
  20. Another case of "This Never Actually Happened!"
  21. Did you sing God Save Chairman Mao as you ate it?
  22. Life is moving pretty fast for Rosie...
