  1. Trent is not someone who will track back and defend like you would like from your defenders. It has been some time now where he thinks he is above that and there are others behind to do the job. And because of this, I don't think he will work in a midfield like ours, unless the new manager wants to try him as an attacking midfielder (the way Bellingham is playing for madrid, and even there, Belligham has his fair share of defensive duties which he does). We must not forget that Trent has won everything there is to win with us and at a young age. Is he hungry enough for more ? I will prefer we focus our attention on Bradley who is more willing to learn and run. And if we can find someone who is willing to put good money on the table for Trent we should bite his hand without hesitation.
  2. Why are you calling him a generational talent ? Do you at least know what it means to be a generational talent ? Lionel Messi is one. Haaland and Mbappe you can call them as such. He is not even the best right back in the world. Attacking wise, Robertson is boasting quite similar stats as him, does it mean he's a generational talent as well ? You need to acknowledge it is the system he's playing in that makes him look like the best attacking fullback in the world. Take him out of that system and he's just an average right back jogging around the pitch. As for the defensive part, he's just one of the worst you'll see at top level. Right now, I have more trust in Bradley defending that side of the pitch to be honest.
  3. Don't know what to say. Klopp leaving may be a blessing in disguise after all.
  4. Alonso it is. Hopefully, FSG won't fuck this up.
  5. And then at the end of the season, we'll offer new contracts to Milner, Ox, Firmino, Naby... because of how wonderful individuals they are.
  6. Nope he is fit but too predictable nowadays. Run with the ball, cut inside and shoot. He is no Arjen Robben, he's become easy to defend against. And with age he's not become any quicker.
  7. Salah is a one trick poney. Cut inside and shoot. When defenders figure him out he is useless. His goal drought is no coincidence at all.
  8. Suarez also has one of the best football brain i've ever seen. Beside his biting habit he knows exactly what to do in every situation... He'll dive, stay on his feet, run, dribble, pass, shoot, waste time, simulate an injury then up in a second to score, taunt the opposition, taunt the opposition fans... Add to this, he is very unselfish compared to Salah, knows how to pass when a team mate is in a better position, free-kick expert, right foot, left foot, good header of the ball... The quasi perfect attacker.
  9. As much as I appreciate Mo, Suarez is surely the better attacker of the two. There was a time where only Messi and Ronaldo were above him. Suarez is more clinical for a start whereas Mo needs 3-4 chances in a game to score one. Suarez is also the more technical of the two, he could at his peak dribble past 2-3 players with ease... Remember what he did against ManU for Kuyt's goal. Although prone to a dive from time to time, he was also solid as an ox and could play beyond the pain barrier. In this present team, a peak Suarez would have been devastating, I'm sure of this. Suarez has scored more than 500 goals in his career, not sure Mo will ever achieve that milestone. The only advantage Mo has on Suarez is speed and a legendary status at Liverpool.
  10. We can't break them with 10 men on at home and you expect us to beat them on their turf? Get serious.
  11. Hendo was the player who voiced out the most against the super league project. He must be seen as a sort of rebel by those at the top. No surprise if he is being treated the hard way. Its the corporate treatment, accept whats on the table or find another job.
  12. Was thinking the same. We have been like a dog barking since beginning of this year without a bite. All our games won have been hard fought matches where results could have been anything.
  13. A well deserved elimination.Nothing to complain about, defence and midfield did their job. The attack, not for the first time this season, was absent. We have a number 9 devoid of any creativity and imagination which are supposed to be his main assets, and to add to his misery he can't even shoot at an open goal. And next to him, 2 attackers who need what at least 4-5 clear cut chances for them to score one.No complaint, Madrid did their job and they are through.
  14. We need Hendo and Fab back in midfield. We have two new CB now, use them, there's nothing to lose from now on.
