  1. what a shock, people to scared to actually talk about the subject. Kenny out
  2. Just want to gather a rough opinion of the thoughts on here. Should Kenny stay or go, and why? Personally, I am undecided right now. Yes I am happy we won a trophy but we are 8th in the league, and the reason I am worried is because, his signings have been poor, so will he magically get better in the transfer market to solve it? I would give him another year I think, unless we could replace him with proven quality of the highest level, none of this Roberto Martinez business, unless its someone like Rafa Benitez or Pep Guadiola or smeone of that ilk, then I would maybe say one more year. If you do think he should go, do you have an idea who should replace him? If you think he should stay, how long for and why?
  3. Funny that he left to go to Chelsea to have CL, now CL next season relys on one game. Will he kick up a fuss to go somewhere else now?
  4. Not Rafa? WHY?? Rafa loves the club, proved what he could do when he did have cunts as owners( three seasons where H&G werent owners he won CL and FA cup and reached another CL final) and he actually buys quality. AVB ? What has he done toconvince you other than fail at Chelsea? Klopp, yes he is good but he would most likely not come to lfc.
  5. French Journo last night on talksport said we are in the box seat to sign younes belhanda
  6. he has improved but its more of a problem than anything tbh. He has waited till the end of the season before looking even half decent, so now what do we do? Do we sell him, do we rely on hm to be our #1 striker next season, risky considerng he scored 4 fucking goals this season, or do we bench him, which means his value will only go lower, and bring in a proven quality player
  7. Rafa or Pep would be my two choices. Outside that, not sure. Would want proven quality though, not a manager who is going to be at his first big club by coming here
  8. Personally I think Kenny will get another year. If it was my choice though I would replace him with Rafa or someone of proven quality in the modern era. I was pleased when KK got the caretaker job last term, but i didnt want him getting it full time as I had my doubt due to him being out of the game so long in terms of management. He had the chance to put identity on his team and instead wasted a shitload of cash and even if we got the players for cheaper than we did, the majority of the players he identitified werent going to be good enough regardless of the amount spent on them. Out of all the buys, costing over 110M, only Suarez is really a guaranteed starter
  9. If we had spent wisely we would have been competing for the title IMO, instead we sit in joint 8th. We bought Downing for 20M, we could have got Mata. We bought Carroll for 35M, we could have got Falcao. We bought Adam for 7M, we could have got Cabaye. This summer is key, but IMO we can still force our way back to the top if we spend well. Depends how much the owners trust kenny, and how much they back him. This is what I would do. Out: Downing - 12M Aquilani - 5m Adam - 8m The rest eg Cole/Kuyt etc - 5M Total - 30M Add that 30M of sales in with 30M provided by the owners and its 60M, witt that we could sign alot of quality. Klass Jan Huntelaar - 17M (Buyout) Younes Belhanda - 10M Javi Martinez - 30M Total - 57M Would mean we would be shaping up like this next term: Reina Johnson - Skrtel - Agger - Enrique Lucas - Martinez Belhanda - Gerrard - Suarez Huntelaar Subs : Doni, Kelly, Coates, Henderson, Shelvey, Bellamy, Carroll. If we could not attract Huntelaar and Martinez I would say go for Giroud, and Nigel De Jong ( only one year left on his City deal and out of favour)
  10. Hopefully he tells the truth. That he wasnt good enough this season. Then it question of whether the owners think he will magically change over the summer, or whether they replace him with a proven quality manager in terms of the modern era
  11. Andy Carroll better than Fernando Torres ? Ha. Anyway, last night pretty much destroyed any chance he would come back. The abuse he took, made him look legit angry.
