  1. De Ligt with a ugly looking cut to the side of his head for Juventus. And Lyon take the lead in his absence (assuming VAR doesn't find some reason to call it off). And Laporte is knackered.
  2. They know they can't close the barn door, so they're going to wait til the horse is well and truly gone.
  3. Was thinking the same thing--looks like an old quarry. Google:
  4. Kent puts Rangers 2 up on aggregate after 60 minutes. Hadn't really done much in the tie to that point.
  5. Braga-Rangers second leg underway. First leg was great entertainment.
  6. Hopefully we get a chance to see him up against Salah and TAA at some point this season. First time I've seen him this season, but I've watched him a few times with Canada, and he looks like he's going to be a great player.
  7. I'm getting a sense that Chelsea's season is about to crash, and Lampard will be gone this summer. They need a clean-out, from top to bottom, as there's something rotten at that club.
  8. Davies has a lot to learn as a LB (his first season there, AFAIK), but that pace makes him a special player.
  9. Looks like it's on the beak, hard.
  10. Yet another thread descends into a series of inane, mindless puns. It's like groundhog day.
  11. I just found it a tad rich to see a tweet pointing the finger at Castro, however deservedly, while at the same time implying that the Vietnam War and the inconceivable horrors visited upon the people of SE Asia by the USA during that conflict were a justifiable act of self-defense against "Viet Cong aggression". It put me in mind of something Jesus apparently said:
  12. I still think Leno is a decent keeper. So sue me.
  13. The Americans, on the other hand, dropped 7 millions tons of bombs on Indochina during the Vietnam war, to fight off the "viet cong aggression". Three times as many as they dropped during WWII. It seem you need more than a little bit of that.
