  1. Putting corruption to one side, one thing that has to change as a result of that transcript/audio - and it will overcome even the most virulent of "biases" against LFC - is that they simply can't afford to look that stupid ever again. Regardless of how much they want to fuck anyone over - and even if they were simply "pretending" to make errors, just to fuck us over - they simply can't be exposed like that again. They can't say "gross human error" again, because if someone asks for the audio and we hear that shit again, they're fucked. Something must change - which means if they have got it in for us - they're going to have to find another way. I think it's best we just move on now, and keep winning games. It will be hard to fuck us over if we're putting 3-5 goals past someone as often as possible.
  2. Having read the transcript - for people that are "corrupt" and "trying to fuck us up" - it was a pretty good impersonation of The Three Stooges "who's on first" sketch. If nothing else, this transcript - regardless of LFC - should cause immediate action about the "prehistoric" and farcical way technology is being (mis)used in a multi-billion dollar industry. For them to STOP LOOKING THAT STUPID IMMEDIATELY must surely override even their most fierce of biases against us.
  3. Probably still having his mental issues - Ange explained a couple of weeks ago that even rich people have those.
  4. Yeah, but I have a feeling we are going to play out of our skins - and the fact there are 3 teams within 2 points of City might give a little more stretch to the 20-point thing - City might be challenged on a few fronts for long enough to feel the heat more than they usually do. I also think this game was so palpable and horrendous in its officiating that things have to ease off for us in that regard a bit. It was so bad, an absolute low point, even they might be briefed to lay off us a bit. I'm sure conversations like that are had - which is why there needs to be as much noise as possible around this situation.
  5. Give it time - some thought that about Gerrard too. Ange may end up in the same place.
  6. Ogden is the same on ESPN. Talking about Spurs' "resilience". The last 25 minutes against 9 men and an OG in the 96th to win. No wonder the incompetence of officials flies under the radar. Even managers and "experts" watching games are fucking deluding themselves. Staggering and fucking annoying.
  7. While it would have been nice to be better off (probably by only a point), nothing has changed as as result of yesterday's pretty criminal injustice - we're still 2 points behind City. And now with a chip on our shoulders to go with already visible signs of great team spirit. If we make a statement at Brighton, I think we can go on and.... challenge for the League, not just top 4 bollocks. Cannot wait for Tottenham to come to Anfield... "I would love it"... Keegan... etc etc
  8. Liverpool fan, my arse. If he was, all the more reason not to be kissing up to refs after that shite, and just making himself look stupid and inconsistent. He could've been magnanimous and sympathised with the opposition, might have even got our fans onside - his boyhood team, no less. Let's see how he copes when things dip, the Souvlaki Crocodile Dundee.
  9. Yeah, I'd have shut my neck about sympathising with officials for an error that, at best, was pure incompetence and gifted his side three points. But I have to say his big, soft, sensitive guy image is starting to get on my nerves. And bullshitting last week about the handball rule not being clear enough. So which is it, Ange? Oh, it depends on whether the decision benefits of hinders your team, eh?
  10. What we can do is keep playing well, take advantage of the result at Wolves today, and keep winning as many as possible, and stick it up everyone with results. Today was the worst of bad calls and bad luck, and we nearly got a point. Klopp is a backs-to-the-wall expert and this could be the making of this season. He and the team will deal with "injustice" a lot better than we mewling fans. And save an especial "up yours" for Spurs when they visit Anfield - not their fault about the refereeing but fuck them all the same, celebrating as if they were the team with 9 men. Hate Spurs me, @tokyojoe !
  11. It's whats that purple-nosed Fergie would have done and was knighted for, so yeah, go for it Jurgen.
  12. I've wanted to say this for quite some time and have bitten my lip because of my "Australianess', but And Postecoglou raising his arms - not once but on a few occasions - as if Tottenham were winning some fair and equitable football Waterloo today, was a bit fucking cringey. I mean, OK mate, but it wasn't a bloody crusade - you were gifted it, so fucking give the backs-to-the-wall, plucky triumph bollocks a rest, son.
  13. I look back now at our so-called pre-season deficiencies, and I'm starting to think - other than cover for one full-back - we're looking pretty deep in most areas. The new mids, the (re-)emergence of Gomez, the Indian summer for Matip, the new mids, the young local boys, the forward arsenal. This is better than perhaps any of us still dares to think. Huge away day coming up.
  14. I never thought I'd say this - but I'm more than happy to be in the Europa for a season.
  15. Yes, I was complaining bitterly and casting us as perennial victims. We would be perfect and unbeatable if not for these things that are always out to get us.
