Not sure why the last post quoted. Nunez hasn't even played a full 90 yet. Got 2 goals. In a team struggling with injury and form. Let's not act like little virgins and give him some acclimistisation time and support. The guys going to be very very good, got no doubts about it

Every team we played has parked the bus, and played on the break. Can't blame them as it's worked. I'd guess that's a factor in our running stats being slightly lower

Don't think number 10s exist any more really. Klopp has shown since lallana and coutinho that if you're that type of player, you can work hard and play as an 8. Absolutely love it to be honest. Guardiola did similar with David and Bernardo silva

Lots of eyes on next summer now agreed. If you get 2 midfielders who stay fit then it more than makes up for the loss of Keita, Ox and likely Milner plus the ageing and fitness issues of Thiago and Henderson. I suspect we may end up with just one though, depending on whether Curtis Jones steps up. Surely if he doesn't this year then we accept he isn't going. Fabinho/hendo New guy/elliott Thiago/new guy/carvalho We'll also need another attacker assuming Bobby goes. A wide player might make more sense given we'll have Jota and Nunez in the centre. My hunch is we get one midfielder and one attacker

Also if he can thread a pass. Part of the difficulty we have with Henderson and Milner when we have loads of possession is that's not their strength, hendo would sooner go backwards or take an extra second to try and execute a long/through ball than back himself to play the difficult ball that plays through the lines, and it makes us alot easier to play against.

I'm taking comfort in the fact that psg fans thought Gini was crap, and we know how good he was for us. If this lad can be fit a reasonable amount of the time and fit into our system, then I'd take it at this stage
