Started well... Then piss poor... Til 15 mins to go. Diame off was a game changer. Defended well all game though against a tough battling west ham side.probably deserved a draw but will take the lucky 3 points. Been a long time since i have said that. Get Walcott in January... Suarez stays fit. Chance of 4th.

I personally think he's lucky to be getting a game. He's done ok, nothing more nothing less. I would be expecting him to be an impact sub after January when hopefully we sign a few players. Sean Wright Phillips-esque but still a way to go to get to his level. Oh and I don't think Sean Wright Phillips was a world beater! If he signs he signs if he goes he goes. :whistle:

Allen looks like he will do well in this more advanced role. His instant trap and turn with back to goal used to get gobbled up by the opposition midfield. But further up the field when he is in that space between the defense and midfield of the opposition, that quick turn and sharp pass will create shitloads for us. One of the positives on getting Lucas back and sitting in front of the defense giving him freedom to go forward and join the attack. Good half.

Sean Wright Philips esque ... he will be a good squad player when we get some better players. Not buying into his hype at the moment. It's the same as Assaidi getting lauded as a world beater. We have been missing wide players who try to attack with a bit of pace for so many years that when they come along we start a wankathon over them.

It's only taken 20 years but finally we have a manager to tell our players what has been missing since pre Evans...... MOVEMENT!!! :eek: It's good to see how it makes the game look so easy and what we have been lacking for as long as I can remember. The players we have on that pitch are no better and in some cases a lot worse than what we have had over the years (some wouldnt have got into any of our teams in the past), but they fucking move into space. It makes us look like a football team who plays football AT LAST!! Most positive I have been since the 80's. :drool:
