    but if its a player who wants away because of the manager and goalkeeping coach,and the player is the best in the world at what he does do you think we should make a special case? im genuinely asking because im not sure myself,there is the argument that allowing ANY player to dictate who the manager is is just wrong.and the possobility that sacking hodgson to keep pepe might not work anyway,plenty of clubs would be more than happy to sign him in the summer when he could potentially go anyway even if we bent over backwards now trying to prevent it

    I havent read the full thread mate but i doubt anyone is happy about it,just some people less surpised than others as far as i can see. im certainly not excusing it or saying its ok but i spent the last couple of days hoping for signings more so than expecting them,despite what people high up in the club had said
