This is problem alot of managers face in our league. I personaly always feel you need a good set piece taker in any squad as when you playing a bottom 5 club or any club that comes to your ground looking for a draw you need something extra. It all comes down to if you can fit him in and it don't hurt you in defence or attack.Or upset the ballance of your team.Saying that tho when the other team is getting 10 men behind the ball and showing 2 banks of 4 and your attackers are finding it hard to find space and run the channels sometimes you have to look to bench for that kind of service. If you playing vs a team that defends in this way you will clearly win alot of corners so that is a must to have top balls getting put in there but you find you get alot of freekicks from deep as well as the team will foul more often around the 30 yards from halfway line and there box.For me this is where you can do the most damage from hard driven free kicks aimed just at pen spot with players trying to get flicks on ball. Never write off the power of a good set piece because the team that normaly do well in our league get a good 20% of there goals from them due to the negitive nature of teams going to top 10 clubs home grounds. Also another note is that even tho you have good balls going into box you need smart players to make quick runs to get in front of defenders or its all a waste this I feel what we have missed since sami left.

half volly is hit just as ball is off the floor , when your foot hits the ball it should be over it to keep it down and head should be directly over the ball , its a skillful shot in its own right not every one can keep them down. His shot was just a shot not a volly and not a half volly.
