  1. Well, going to be an interesting season if that's it as far as transfers. I think we have improved overall as a team but it still really doesn't make sense to me why there have been no alternative approaches to VVD. I appreciate the efforts, Keita was a smart buy and I'm actually interested to see what Klopp can do with AOC, but that doesn't change the fact that we'll be in for another season of watching balls lofted right over Moreno's head and the defense in a panic as big Dejan turns like an oil tanker.
  2. Preparing to agressively monitor an intent to swoop.
  3. Just means theyll be more squad players than starters. Not bad options to have.
  4. Sounds like a good offer to me. Hopefully it'll be accepted.

  6. Chelsea want Ox, Drinkwater, Barkley and Llorente. Wow, 4 underwhelming signings for them to say the least.
  7. Im not trying to find any negatives I think its a very good deal. Im just pointing out that Leipzig werent necessarily lying when they said he wasnt available for this year. We had to find a compromise.
  8. Spanish phone m8 cant seem to stop it autoposting
  9. Yeah and wasnt sold for this year so I wouldnt see it as them going back on anything per se Enviado desde mi Moto G (4) mediante Tapatalk
  10. Probably in case he snaps his leg in two or something in the meantime. I feel your pain though.
  11. Hate these Twitter ITKs claiming were in for Benzama, Kovacic, Roberto Carlos and Pelé because we signed one big player
  12. Liverpool FC in bidding for unobtainable player shocker.
  13. Spurs in for Aurier apparently. Not a single club around us has been as quiet as us, bar maybe Arsenal. Getting ridiculous at this stage. Enviado desde mi Moto G (4) mediante Tapatalk
  14. Its quite clear to me that if (as looks likely) we dont bring anyone else in this summer, Klopps probably been told to hang tough and attempt to grind out another 4th and maybe a run in the CL. The reason for this is probably that its not a "smart business move" to take a big money risk on someone whos not a first choice target as many other clubs are doing. Where they are falling short in my opinion is overestimating the ability of this squad to even reach that modest target with a lot of clubs making good improvements this year. A couple of injuries and we're really in trouble.
  15. Plenty of unflushable turds at the club already sadly. Bit difficult to believe VVD os the only attainable player in world football who could improve this defence. Enviado desde mi Moto G (4) mediante Tapatalk
  16. The arrogance of Barca absolutely stinks, always hated them. Yes, you should feel blessed by our attempts to unsettle and take your best player. How dare you reject an offer thats about 50% add ons. Should be grateful that we even tried. You even ruined the unveiling ceremony we set up for him despite not even being in negotiations. "Más que un club" says it all. Get over yourselves, dickheads.
  17. Scarlett Johansson has until Sunday to marry me or I will be forced to officially withdraw my offer. Hope she doesnt take it too hard. Enviado desde mi Moto G (4) mediante Tapatalk
  18. I'd hate to see the reaction if the tradional equaliser off Benteke's arse had materialised.
  19. Dont know what game everyone else was watching but I thought the defence was tidy and solid today. It was actually up front se struggled the most. Robertson was the real difference for me and looks a great player. What a difference it make not to have a retard at left back drifting way out of position and an error prone CB trying and failing to atone for his many fuck ups. 20. Despite all the moaning I think we've actually been pretty good. Robertson very good and solid at the back. Just have to be patient. Enviado desde mi Moto G (4) mediante Tapatalk
  21. Lot of hysteria on here. We still have the makings of a good team but we have gone into a dip after our great start and we don't have the mentality to cope, with our unaddressed flaws badly exposed. I still reckon we are good enough to get top four but I think the last couple of games have shown we don't have what it takes to keep pace with Chelsea, who will win in comfortably after Arsenal inevitably do an Arsenal in the second half of the season.
  22. Emre Can posted a picture of him in the barber's on Facebook the other day with a caption something along the lines of "Getting ready for another three points on Sunday". The arrogance and complacency when we are fancied to win is what keeps fucking us up time and time again. We think we are golden and we can just totally ease off and stop keeping our eyes on the ball. Sent from my C5303 using Tapatalk
  23. 4/10 - Have to admit despite my early skepticism Mané has looked very good so far and should add some badly needed pace to the side. However, I fail to see what Wijnaldum adds in the role he is being played and the lack of a new left back to replace the donkey that is Alberto Moreno is nothing short of insane. Throw in a couple more signings that look good on paper but have yet to really play (Matip, Karius) and the rating could go up, but it's obvious to me that the massive holes in the team we have inexplicably failed to fill will cost us dearly yet again, and there's really no excuse for failing to do anything about it. The "well, Klopp doesn't want to spend money on the wrong player" line is a very flimsy one in my opinion. Far better to take a punt on a LB and a controlling midfielder who may not work out than have no-one there and resort to using 30 year old James Milner to plug in the gaps. What are our scouts for? Are we really saying there is nobody available to us in world football right now better than Alberto Moreno? After finishing the transfer window as pretty much the only club of any note making a huge profit? Nah, not for me. Klopp clearly isn't stupid, but the decisions that have been made are daft. Something stinks, I'm sure he'll try and make it work but it's very hard to believe this is what he wanted to do. It'll be interesting to see if things remain so cordial if the season goes down the shitter early doors.
  24. If that's the case why is Klopp wasting his time here? I thought he was more ambitious than that.
  25. People go on about how we can't compete with the big boys financially, but before accepting that as a reasonable explanation for why we continually fail to meet our targets I would like to see a period when we spend our money in ways that actually make sense. Off the top of my head in not such a long period of time we have replaced Torres with Andy Carroll for 35M, attempted to use Jordan Henderson as a makeweight in a deal for 29-year-old Clint Dempsey, loaned out Carroll and then failed to get Dempsey leaving us with only one fit striker, replaced arguably the greatest striker in our history with Rickie Lambert and Balotelli, repeated the Carroll error by buying a very similar type of player everyone could see was not going to succeed here, and now are about to keep a horrendous flop as our only natural LB while loaning out one of the best of only 4 CBs at the club. What the fuck is wrong with the judgement of whoever is running the club? One or two were punts, errors in judgement that didn't work out, but too much of it is just so bizarre you're left thinking it must be some kind of active sabotage.
