I’m so glad I managed to get down yesterday, great atmosphere coupled with a great performance. I’m still worried about Carroll he wasn’t good at all yesterday, him and Maxi had the same starting point when Henderson played Bellamy in yet by the time the ball was played to the back post Maxi was stood practically on the goal line but Carroll wasn’t even inside the penalty area. When we score, he gets really excited and celebrates as if we are his boyhood club so I don’t think it’s a commitment problem, I just think he’s so shot on confidence. I’d of liked to see Henderson taking the penalty, but I think the miss was a blessing in disguise anyway. Bellamy has to start week in week out for this team, he’s like as important to this team as Suarez, Downing looks better on the right anyway. When fit it should always be Bellamy on the left, Downing on the right. How well did Coates play as well, and did anybody see the Carragher elbow on Torres in the first few minutes? I absolutely loved it, it didn’t show it on the highlights when I re-watched them this morning. The futures bright, the futures RED!

If it’s going to be a medium term injury the good thing is we have some fixtures that I think we wouldn’t actually need a holding midfielder for. The Irish lad next to me said when he went down “we won’t see him again till February now”

Admit we made a mistake and fuck him off, it’s got to the point now where he is actually hindering out chances of winning games and finishing in the top 4. If Kenny continues to play him; he’s putting his pride above the clubs best interests.

So if we played Sunday and United played Saturday; why the fuck are we on tonight if it's not on TV? Why didn't United play today, with Blackburn and Cardiff who also played Saturday and we play tomorrow with City, who again played Sunday. I know all this has already been said but it's complete bullshit!

Let’s be honest, the people who refuse to admit it know he’s useless. I know he’s useless, all the players around him know he’s useless, Kenny knows he’s useless, the owners will know he’s useless and I bet even the lad himself knows he’s useless. £35million, think how much £35million is in both football and just the world. Or keep with the Adam and Lucas central midfield with Henderson behind Suarez. I just want to see Kuyt dropped. His ball retention, or lack of it, would cost us against a side as good as City. Plus it'd mean Spearing would give us more defensive cover, I think most of us would agree him and Lucas worked really well towards the back end of last season. If either Bellamy or Maxi are dropped it'd be a disgrace (cue Drogba gif.) Only worry would be if he dropped either Agger or Skrtel to get Carragher back in the side.

There lies a problem, you’d be happy as we are undefeated. Unbeaten runs are for kids playing Football Manager, if we win 2 and draw 4 yeah we haven’t lost and it might look good in 10 years on Premiership Years “Liverpool had an unbeaten start to the campaign” but winning 4 and losing 2 means we have more points? I can’t work your logic out at all!

Yeah and admittedly I didn’t get my point across very well but when Comolli was appointed we were linked with the likes of Yann M’Villa who is a top draw young player, I thought it was players like that who fitted the “FSG Model”. I just mean to say before the King came back, was we ever linked with Downing, Adam and Henderson. That’s not to say I don’t like all 3 of them, especially Henderson he’s quality!

People on here need to read what I’ve said, obviously over the internet it’s hard to see what emotion its wrote in but I REALLY like Damien Comolli and would of preferred some of his signing we were being linked with. HOWEVER I’d like Dalglish to sign every player, I do like Comolli but Dalglish is to head strong to be given players to simply coach. Could you imagine what The King would say if Comolli said “I didn’t get Downing, but instead I give you these…” and introduces him to 4 random French lads? I do like Comolli but I wonder if he was brought in to work under a different style of manager, but due to Dalglish being so successful and just being all round amazing. He won’t really be able to fulfil the role.

That’s true, but wouldn’t that happen anyway because moving from Inter Milan (who with all respect are a huge club) to Manchester United personally I’d expect more from my sponsor. More people will be watching you, from many more countries around the world, which in turn means more children wanting to buy those sparkly blue boots you wear!

I’d love to see what the official ruling is on this, if somebody else is paying part of a players wages surely this starts to fall into the player sharing and 3rd party ownership categories.

Well that answers all my questions, I didn’t think about it like that. Like most clubs sign say 15 players over the time a manager is at the club, and then a new manager comes in decides that he doesn’t want those players and needs to sign another 15. Yeah now I see the point in him, makes perfect sense.

I’ve just been thinking about it whilst watching a Damien Comolli interview on SSN, do you think any of the current signing are actually ones he would have suggested? When he first came it looked as though we would go under some kind of French/French League revolution but we’ve only signed British players (outfield players). I know at Tottenham he did sign some British players (Huddlestone, Bale, Bentley to name but a few) but like I said when he was first appointed under Roy Hodgson the players we seemed to be linked with were mainly foreign. Obviously I prefer King Kenny making all the decisions when it comes to signing players but I can’t help but think had Roy Hodgson’s tenure not been as disastrous, he’d of stayed on until the end of the season and we’d of got a more European style manager, who would just coach the players Comolli bought. So my main question is what is the point in Damien Comolli under a head strong manager like The King?

It’s impossible to say, if you had put a poll up at the start of last season saying “Do you rate Joe Cole? yes or no?” most people would have said yes as it turns out he’s been utter shite. It’s not who we do or don’t rate as a footballer, it’s about supporting anybody who wears the Liverpool shirt. I’m sure everybody who doubts Downing will be happy to be proved wrong, and everybody who rates him will be happy to tell them “I told you so” -
If Kelly can perform as well as he did in his short stint in the team, I’d be very pleased if Glen Johnson was given a chance as a right winger. He has pace, strength, good delivery and a good shot with both feet as well as being fit enough and having enough defensive prowess to track back and help Kelly. Does anybody else agree with this idea?

As much as I love Carragher and as much as people on here will jump at me for saying this, I don't think he is good enough (anymore) to play week in week out for a team which is expected to push for Champions League places and maybe the title!
