actually no, that's incorrect. A company becomes bankrupt when Liabilities exceed Assets - i.e. the value of equity is negative. If they're paying 117 million for an equity stake, then no, the company is not bankrupt. I don't know what the actual details are, I haven't read enough into it, but that point is incorrect.
