I don't think it's for a person of white ethnicity to tell a black person what they should or shouldn't find offensive. But, while it may be immaterial, there seems to be no intention to offend, immaturity and several other instances where the word in question is used and prosecutions aren't pursued because contextual considerations are applied. A quiet word along the lines of "Look, you've broke the law here and somebody has complained. Just be a bit more aware of what you post in future" would have been sufficient.

Source. One doctor who wasn't on duty that night and who Fisk believes may be pro-regime due to some of the things he said. The doctors who were on duty at the time were away in Damascus giving evidence to the official bodies etc. It's more a claim from somebody who wasn't present, rather than an act of confirmation.

I can't believe that Diamond ran with a parental rights trump the child's best interests argument. Different circumstances, but what about FGM? If the parent's want the child to have the procedure and the courts/authorities are attempting to stop it? Under Diamond's logic, the procedure should be carried out as the parents wishes are more important than the distress a child will suffer from having their genitals chopped up.

An important point was raised by someone the other day. Young children are like sponges. They absorb everything, take it all in. If they're being dragged to a protest outside Alder Hey by their ma, who's shouting about them being "murderers" and "baby killers" etc, just imagine how fucking petrified their own kids will be if they subsequently have the misfortune of needing to be admitted to Alder Hey, or any other hospital? It's no real surprise that all the bilious, angry bandwagoners appear to be the sort who think "Alder Hay" are "discusting"

Just read that Alder Hey have asked for protestors outside the hospital to manage their noise and consider other patients at the hospital. There were scrotes doing wheelies on scrambler bikes the other day. And they've set up a karaoke machine and a bouncy castle near the hospital. Ridiculous.
