good read that dave keep up the good work i think it describes how we all feel at the moment , and our position in the table apart , we are playing some of the worst football in decades , its like a double blow . hodgson is on a hiding to nothing , but some of the players at his disposal are absolutely shite , and throw in the poor form of a few others . its just not gonna work out for him . can anyone imagine our situation if kenny had got the job , and even if the results were as bad as they are now , he would still be heralded as our leader and even the most stubborn of reds would give him all the time he needed to get it right . its a no brainer that he should have been given the job , its just a pity the people there to appoint our manager arent fit to do their jobs ! there is something cancerous in our club at the minute , and i dont like to think of how worse it could get . on a personal note , hope your old man aint too bothered by a little scally , and hope your cat still has a few more lives left .... dont think roy has that many !!!

my take on crouch coming back is i would like it , and for no more than 7/8 million . but only if it meant we were not going to sign another striker . ngog might be one for the future but im fucked if we think we are going to get through the season with just him and nando . im not even including kuyt as a striking option .

a player that springs to my mind is matt taylor . not sure if he plays at full back for bolton , but would be a good signing for either the left back or left midfield position . not sure of his age though , he is probably getting on a bit , although hence he might not cost too much . his delivery from a dead ball would be an asset too .

ive always had a dislike for craig fagan and michael brown , plus the reading centre half who was mouthing off at stevie during a game a few years back . buts its john terry for me , .... and any mancs and cockneys !
