  1. 2 words spring to mind... Brokeback Mountain!!
  2. Ramblings of discontent, narrow sighted skeptics that can't see past their noses will be unhappy with the way our new crusade has begun. But alas my dear Reds, the earth is not flat we shall travel to the horizon's edge & we will conquer lands further than the eye can see... I see more substance with a limited squad than I have seen in years. Yes results are poor, nobody is denying that but what we need is to look at things from afar...see the bigger picture that is emerging. Results are sometimes a culmination of unfortunate events. Look at Skrtel's pass to Tevez, an error yes but unlucky...Liverpool were unlucky to only take a point that day. Nobody can argue with that... Last weekend was a total embarrassment in terms of refereeing decisions & if you can just have a bit of foresight you will see that Liverpool were once again unfortunate not to come away with 3 points. That's not fiction right there... this is fact! You have to look at things in the sense of expected value or expected return. This is how we look at things in the long term. When you going out with a girl for a while you are automatically calculating expected value... is she wife material, will she look after my kids well, will she give me the support and love when I need it, will she be with me through thick & thin? Yes you have arguments but because you have done an Expected Value calculation this result of the argument is nothing because you know over the long term everything will be alright. Look at Brendan Rodgers' reign in Expected Value terms and things will become a lot clearer. We have amazing youngsters in Sterling, Wisdom, Suso, Allen, Shelvey, Coates which have come to prominence in recent times. Our future is bright and nobody can deny that. We can augment this further by buying prodigious talent that will increase the Expected Value of the team. I never blindly believe in anything, let alone a man... but the early buds of growth under Brendan is very encouraging. Taking on a team like Man Utd with 10 men, most of them under the age of 25 and outplaying them filled me with pride. The work ethic, the honesty, the integrity is there for all to see. Brendan is a man of honour and I have faith that he is the right man. He takes responsibility, he has a clear vision & philosophy. There is a profound couple of quotes that I'd like to relay to you guys in relation to this... "Without a vision...the people will perish." - Proverbs 'Great spirits have often encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.' — Albert Einstein ‘Innovation—any new idea—by definition will not be accepted at first. It takes repeated attempts, endless demonstrations, and monotonous rehearsals before innovation can be accepted and internalized by an organization. This requires "courageous patience.".’ — Warren Bennis There we have it my fellow Red's. I believe that our future is very bright, take care people! Have a great day where ever you are. All the best to the Reds tonight!
  3. He is just a bitter cunt because he is a flop at Barca. Ferchenko will be the same at Chelsea. Mascheranus got it twisted... Torres is a two faced, lying, weak little weasel. When you declare your undying love for the fans & the club... the go to a souless team like chelsea what the fuck do these cunts expect?
  4. My input will be for Carroll... To the tune of Sweet Child of Mine (Guns & Roses) He scores goals and it seems to me, Reminds me of old Anfield memories, Where everything Was as fresh as the bright red sky, Everytime he scores & chase He takes you away to that special place If you give him space You’ll probably break down & cry… Oh, oh, oh, ohhh Sweet Carroll 9 Oh, oh, oh, ohhh Sweet Carroll 9
  5. I think you are spot on with your assesment that Andy Carroll, brings the same sort of qualities to the table like Didier Drogba. I really like the look of the lad & I think he will be a brilliant signing for us. Andy is a handful in the box, He terrifies defenders & that is something we need here at Liverpool. He'll be a threat at set pieces, let alone in open play. I think that it is a good deal for the club to get him in...he is exactly what we need. I think Suarez needs someone to play off & Andy Carroll will be a great partner for him. Good post mate.
  6. Jeez, you guys are so stupid. Let someone have there say. There is no need to call someone a vegatible or any name for stating his opinion. He is optimistic which is good. King Luis, I too share your optimism. I agree with some of your post & all the best to you my fellow red man.
  7. Amen Brother. To be fair Rafa is a nice man but he has proved that he is not the man to lead liverpool forward. We've been down that tired road already, he was the man that told us to manage our expectations. We finished 2nd the year before, being in the race until the end... yet because of the team seriously underperforming, we as a group of supporters, bouyed by the hope & optimism of the previous season, must all of a sudden be satisfied with a mediocre 7th position? That is absurd...it's not logical or based on the laws of human nature. The reason we are in this predicament in the 1st place was because of the ineptitude of Rick Parry & David Moores. They got this snowball of carnage rolling, which culminated in the appointment of Roy Hodgson. Now Rafa is not the type of manager we need going forward. We need a manager that will set his teams out to play with an attacking philosophy. We need a revolution to the rigidity that has been instilled from the post op Houllier days, right up until old Woy. What I can't understand is that people are satisfied with Liverpool just playing a game not to lose under Rafa. Surely everyone is tired of the great Liverpool FC just being a team that people don't even fear. Surely this is the most opportune time that we have a revolution... a fresh start from what has happend before? It is time that every Liverpool FC player should play with pride for the full 90 minutes. I am tired of seeing half ass performances from Torres and others, playing as if they do not care about this team. We should attack teams to make them fear us! We should show them that we are Liverpool, that the only simpathy they are getting from us is a handshake afterwards showing our class after absolutely burying them. Our manager should never be criticising the players unless he wants them out of the door. We should be creating an aura of invincibility & class about us. A return to the Liverpool Way. Instead of talking about what they players don't do or aren't doing, talk about them in terms of reverance. This sends out the right messages to the players & spreads that aura of invincibilty. Football is 10% physical & 90% mental. Confidence, form & passion are all attitudes that are a consequence of your inner states. I believe that neither Rafa nor Roy are the men that do these things. Shanks used to say that Ron Yeats is a colossus. He was the man to start the revolution for LFC... I know that this is the most important time for the club & another revolution is needed to lead us back to where we belong. YNWA my Red men. Be Proud to say that you are a Red. There is not greater club than ours. This giant will awake once again to conquer all & that time is soon. Merry Xmas to you all & have a great time with your respective families.
  8. Atleti... tu es un gran persona. Mucho gracias pro sua buena personalidad. Real Madrid una MIERDA...es un equipo completo de los Maricons! LFC y Atleti para siempre!
  9. Rafa Benitez’s political promise of guaranteed forecast of obtaining 4th position in the Premier League, is being clouded by the ultimate spin artist, claiming expectations where too high etc. Let’s examine the real facts: We, the supporters of this club, have been subjected to acute dullness of play because of Rafa’s obsession of control. Control over finances, control over the academy, control of over analyzing what the opponents will do at every moment of every game, control over the way the team plays. When someone is given detailed instructions of what to do each moment of the game, the players are going to look like they are playing with a straightjacket on…they are going to look robotic & you can bet your house that they will be predictable. He thinks he is playing chess by making a move with 10 moves father down the line in mind. Invariably…Liverpool comes out to games with the vigor of a two foot tsunami…but that vigor slowly disintegrates into the same attacking intent as Christian Militia. Rafa might proclaim that he has a positive mentality…but in my opinion he is just a cheerful pessimist. The expression on the players’ faces is one of clear confusion. Rafa’s instructions are clearly too detailed hence we look like we haven’t a clue. Rafa’s tactics to me are summed up as premeditated spontaneity. He sets his team out with reckless caution. I don’t mind losing but not without attacking the other team until the final whistle is blown. Rafa is the best spin artist this club has ever employed. Saying that he wants to stay on for the fans…really is a hollow point. He wouldn’t say that expectations were too high if he really cared about the fans. He should know that the fans of Liverpool FC will always be hopelessly optimistic at the start of every season…especially one where we ended second the season before. It’s ingrained in every LFC supporter to expect the best from whoever is fortunate enough to wear the red jersey. The increasing decline in the effort of the players leads me to my initial conclusion that people are not motivated to play for Rafa anymore. Every time we go out to play, it’s almost like we can see the outcome written in invisible ink before the final whistle is blown. When things are not going well we need a change to freshen the ideas of a mentally stale squad. Ask yourself, how many more lame efforts can your sanity take? How many more excuses can your heart handle? The collective loud whisperings you hear around Anfield these days indicate that the Rafalution will not lead us to Utopia.
  10. Rafa is a chess player so he is positioning his pieces for a check mate... plus he is the true genius of playing the victim card. No trophy in 4 years is really inexcusable. I am sorry, this victim card that Rafa continually pulls out, has run it's course. I believe that Rafa has taken us as far as he can. He is not a motivator...to worried with tactics searching for everything to run perfectly to his pre-designed tactics, is not a theory based upon realism. This is a game... nothing runs exactly to plan, hence the need for motivation, simple fundamental instruction & giving the players confidence to reach their potential in games. When things become too serious, instruction becomes to detailed (ie.difficult to execute), everything becomes robotic, boring and very predictable. I believe that Liverpool needs a motivator like Mourinho. Someone to give the players a cause to fight for. To motivate the players to get up for winning teams that are difficult to get up for. This is where I feel Rafa is lacking. Mucho Gracias Senor Benitez... however sadly it's time to say Adios.
  11. There is a difference in trying & doing. With Rafa saying we will try to attack City means that they will only attempt it... if it doesn't work, we'll just smother them & take the point. If you are too scared of having a go in life, you might as well just pack it in. All I ask is for us to do our best but this 3rd rate football is not our best...it's closer to our worst.
  12. Fellaini is a dirty cunt & he should've got the red card. Serves him right...now let's cross fingers for a staph infection.
  13. My dear friend... step away from the marijuana! Your sexual scat fantasy is deeply emblazoned in this slightly worrying thread.
  14. Flog the stiff one off to Inter for £40 Million...we'll keep the real deal Holyfield.
