To be fair at this point it doesnt matter a jot about any other team and how they've improved. If we dont stop shipping goals everytime the opposition has a sniff we'll be struggling to finish in the top 7/8 never mind 4.

Thing is though he gave everyone and any positivity a massive kick in the balls by not doing anything about the defence this summer. Genuinely not trying to be a dick saying but he has contributed massively to the negativity that only continues to grow because people can see their fears about the defence becoming reality.

Its a bit of a mixed bag. We've improved offensively but defensively we're probably as weak as we've been in a few years now. Basically we are going to need the attack to bail us out as often as possible as we will concede way too often.

Well it'll certainly be interesting to see what happens come January and next summer. If there really was an extra 100 million earmarked we didn't spend then i'm guessing it should still be there for us to spend without having to sell anyone.
