  1. Neg yourself for having no hairs on your sack too. I bet you'll direct him to the staunch defense you've made on his behalf first chance you get.
  2. Very true and very well put. Would have "repped" you, but have done recently apparently so it's stopping me. Obviously you're a sense talking, jive walking kind of guy, so well done and keep it up!
  3. Is that not a bit strong mate? I know what you're sayimg like, but there's been worse (Kewell, even Morientes) and if Babel got a run at some point in his 2 and a half years here we might be able to judge properly. What is the most amount of consecutive starts he's had? Compare that with someone like Kewell and it'll be a stark contrast I reckon. I agree with your point, but my thought is that he never, ever, got a proper crack at it
  4. You're getting me wrong mate. Not criticising the listed players, just saying that Babel would have come good with a decent run, a la Lucas

  7. He is so fucking frustrating it's untrue. My opinion of him as a player and his time here was summed up in about 5 minutes when he came on against Lyon. Fucking boss goal followed up by the spooniest freekick I've ever seen. Rafa needs to take a fair bit of responsibilty too though. Had he been given the chance/run of games Lucas, Dirk, Insua et al have had, we might think of him in a completely different way. There are certain players who will be given an undeserved long standing run in the team and others who get bit parts and are shipped out. For my money, the latter were the better group of players too. I get Rafa as much as I get Babel. The guy's obvioulsy talented and driven as a manager and will have success throughout his career wherever he is, but his choices mirror Babel's performances. Shit, I've just turned a Babel thread into a Rafa thread and managed to throw in Lucas, Kuyt and Insua. Oops. Alonso anyone?!
  8. Don't get what you're getting at here. All shops in town will be open as they don't attract over 40,000 people to turn up within a 2 hour time frame. Whatever the reason for the request, this is irrelevant
  9. I don't reckon that's right mate. I think the row was between Puma and Adidas about who's headguard he'd wear during Czech games
  10. I understand what you are all getting at with your angry response, but it seems to me that whatever is printed at the moment, be it blind negativity or rose tinted positivity, we just get pissed off and jump all over it, looking for the angle that the author is using to try and bury us with our own shovel. I still can't believe the difference in our position from last season, but I suppose it was papering over the cracks and this was an imminent occurence. I have now started holding onto the idea (probably extremely naively!) that the yanks will come good, get the new stadium started, release some funds come the summer and utilise the brand to it's maximum. That being said, I'm not the brightest bulb!
  11. Haha. Fair play. Capitals good enough now?
  12. SORRY, DIDN'T REALISE IT HAD BEEN POSTED. DELETE/LOCK IF YOU WANT. OH, AND YOU CAN SHOVE YOUR CAPITAL LETTERS UP YOUR ARSE YOU PEDANTIC, SMART ARSE, GRAMMAR POLICE CUNT
  13. just you're a snidy fucking twat, don't use us as easy targets and speculate that we probably spoke to your manager at some point. you got caught lying you twat, now lie back and take your medicine. oh, and leave us out of it you unimaginative cunt! 14. good point that mate. we were all over him for it at first/when things were going well. now it's just more rope to hang him with *hangs head in shame*
  15. i think that was fair enough given the over the top shit storm the press built up over that. also, that's him on the attacking stance, which isn't as embarrassing as the infantile and repetetive answers rafa gives when his back's against the wall. thick mick is an annoying cunt mostly though to be fair
  16. i know you could debate a couple of the names on that, but what a fucking team that would be. pleased for stevie and nando and can't argue with little lionel coming out on top either
  17. fucking hell! never thought of it like that! why is it that we seem to have been paying over the odds bringing people in and getting bum fucked when selling players for the last 15 years or so?!
  18. i really think he is underrated by most fans. once we can field this as our midfield and forward set up we should eventually see what we're really made of Torres Riera Gerrard Benny Aquilani Masch
  19. just read the thread back and you're right, lid! you've been a bit harsh though. why such a strong backlash all round. it wasn't that deserving was it?! gutted about the result today btw. we NEED to do villa on tuesday. massive, massive must win isn't it?
