  1. It's on Sky's site that he hasn't agreed anything with our club and that talks with Valencia are advancing really well. This is from his agent, it sounds like a ploy to get his client a better deal.
  2. They're no longer exclusive and were announced for release recently, I can't remember the date though. I agree I thought that Gay Tony was better than GTA IV.
  3. I've got both an Xbox 360 and a PS3 and I hardly switch the former on anymore. To be honest apart from a number of exclusive titles for each, the multi platform games are extremely similar on both. The PS3 worked out cheaper for me. It has in built wireless, the Bluray player and the free online capabilities. If I wanted the same but with an Xbox 360 I'd end up paying more. That said, you mentioned you only want it to play a few games (offline) and aren't really interested in the Bluray, so I'd probably recommend the Xbox. The red rings used to be a big problem (rumours of 50% failure rate) I've had to return mine. Apparently they have now rectified that and the failure rate has dropped significantly. The PS3 isn't exempt from failure, there has been a few yellow light failures but nowhere near as many as Xbox.
  4. The way Gerrard has been he'd struggle to get in both those sides, not that I believe that crap anyway. While Rafa is shouldering a lot of the blame, and it's probably warranted, the senior players need to look at themselves and try to turn things around rather than look for the exit door.
  5. Purslow has just been on the radio and stated that Mascherano hasn't even been offered a new contract as yet. This is just a case of 'kicking a dog when it's down' as far as I'm concerned.
  6. I doubt a Brazilian player, plying his trade in the second teir in his country and with no International caps (barring Under 20) would get a work permit, unless he has some dodgy Italian passport, or was joining United.
  7. Sky Sports are reporting that Gerrard began training as normal and was then seen leaving early with Gary Lewin. It doesn't mention limping, or if it was planned. It could be that he trained with the team for 30 minutes before leaving to do some fitness work or maybe a scan. EDIT:Just seen video footage of him leaving with Lewin and he wasn't limping.
  8. Capello has said "It is a little muscle problem in the groin" and that he is a doubt for wednesdays game, hopefully he'll miss that and be fine for the weekend.
  9. There is absolutely no mention whatsoever of Torres picking up an injury in either Marca or As.com. They both mention Negredo replacing him but don't mention an injury, they do both mention Ronaldo picking up a knock.
  10. Apparently according to someone on RAWK (who copy and pasted the article) the AP are now reporting that Prince Faisal Al Saud has entered due diligence and has been given a period of exclusivity of several months in terms of negotiating with Gillett. On the other hand Tony B in The Times is reporting that Gillett held a meeting with an unnamed Indian billionaire who has also shown an interest in purchasing his share.
