They definitely are good enough to get to Top 4 and maybe top 3. Chelsea will definitely finish in Top 3 but from other Big4 members anyone could fall out of this four. But, it is too early to predict, they can be also a flop.

Skrtel is very good defender and definitely in the Top10 of PL maybe even in Top5. I don´t agree with the fact that he is not outstanding in some elements of his game. He is outstanding tackler, dominant in the air in one on one fights. He is not that dominant in defending set pieces, but that may be a fault of system, but ono to one he almost never loses a header. He has good positioning and is almost never caught out of position. And he is solid with the ball an his feet. Maybe he never beats a player, but he is defender and as defender he rather passes the ball than tryies to beat a oponent. If he would fail, than is nobody behind him to cover. And his long passes are usually very accurate, he is not hoofing he is passing. His only weaknes is his bad positioning in case of attacking set pieces, as he stands always behind far post and just brings the ball down to his teammates. For a man of his size he should be flying to the edge of oponents six yard box and hammer the ball to the back of the net. He is wasted in a second row. But overall is quality and will be better than Carra.

I think that he didn´t give away as many needles fouls as people moan about. And most of them came in the area close to halfway line. I think few of our other players make more fouls in dangerous areas close to penalty box.

Who thinks Martin is not good enough to play for LFC?? I think he is good enough to be a regular starter for us ( with Danny or Carra) but in last weeks I read that he is often slated a little bit too much. He missed almost whole pre-season, started without match fitness against Spurs and did not play that bad when you consider that he had damaged jaw from 20-th minute. Than he returned against Villa, still not fit and had a very good game even when we lost. One of our better performers. All I want to say is, that he did not do much wrong in last months but I often find posts about him basically saying that he is shite, or Carra-Skrtel combo did not works because of Skrtel, or that he is overrated. I am little bit confused cause I think that throughout his time with the club he was in 90 percent of his matches a fuckin´rock and some people seem to see him as a liability...

Carra is having a shit form at the moment. Yes, I think he is on the decline but he still is not worse than the other CB´s. Don´t forget that he is shitty almost every season in first 5-10 matches. I hope it is just a dip of form and he will come back to his best. If not, than is time for Skrtel and Agger to step up.

I would start : Reina Glen Carra Skrtel Insua Mascherano Kuyt Gerrard Benny Riera Torres But probably Leiva will start with Yossi or Riera on the bench.

Lucas was not worst, he has been the second worst after Gerrard. Have to argue with your second sentence. Skrtel and Insua played well, and also Masch has not been shocking.

Stallone is shit as is Dennehy ( and I like First Blood). Tom Sizemore is on the same level as Michael Madsen. Underrated is Kevin Bacon and maybe also Willem Dafoe ( excellent in Platoon but in last decade appears just in crap films)

Lescott is average and I would not pay more than 10 million for him. But it is the problem of Arabians that they bought that piece of shit for that much money, and is a excellent piece of business for the Bitters. Maybe next summer, after finishing 7th in league they will buy Agger and Skrtel for combined 70 million + tevez:whoops:

Gerrard should have 3 , at best 4. Worst performance I´ ve seen from him. bad passes, lost balls, idiotic penalty tackle. Stevie is my favourite player but on Monday he was a disgrace. Once again critics on Skrtel. he had a good game and you argument about us getting all goals with him on the pitch is ( excuse me ) stupid. None of these 5 goals were his mistakes, and on the pitch during these 5 goals have been also Carra, Insua, Glen, Masch and many more. I think few people slowly try to make Skrtel a scapegoat on here. Come on, defensively he is our best defender and no worse than Carra.

Both of them played well against Villa. Carra should have covered C.Davis for their second, but they made no other mistake. Skrtel´s defending was almost perfect he won almost every ball and did not put a foot wrong. I think some people crticize him in the last months more than he deserves. And Agger?? He is quality and surely will bring something special to our attacking game but defensively is not on Skrtel´s or Carra´s level. He often leaves gaps and his positioning is often a joke. He is nowhere near the player he should be. And I still did not mentioned that he is almost 30 months on the sidelines and that is a fucking long period of time. It is no more the 06/07 Daniel Agger.

Just Torres and Gerrard. And Skrtel for me ( but I am biased cause I am Slovak) And probably Johnson if my feelings are good, but has to prove himself still. The others could be replaced. And Reina? If I had to I would pick Given.

This Ferdinand myth is not alright. Yes, he is a good defender, but his ball playing abilities are overrated and nowhere near Agger´s. He just takes the ball runs to the halfway line and then passes to nearest player or makes a long pass. It is the way Skrtel plays. Rio never beats a player, never shoots and is almost no goal threat. He has not the qualities Agger has. But he is better at defending. And I would swap Essien for Masch everyday of the week.
